Too small, too narrow. Uncomfortable for $160!

Compared to the 20 model, the 21 is wider in the front. I ordered the same size as my 20 model but I felt there was too much room on the side of my foot but the size fit perfectly. I ultimately ended up returning them because of that reason; they just didn't live up to the 20 model for me.

Not nearly as comfortable as the GT- 2000 6. I have bought these shoes for the past 9 years. Always getting the newest version once I burn through the previous. So about every 3 months I order a new pair. But I am thinking about witching to different shoes after this version came out.

Very narrow compared to same size (8.5 wide) in New Balance 1080. Could barely get my foot in.

I bought these about 6 weeks ago ..2 weeks into wearing them ..because my foot is sliding around in the toe Box ..I injured my right foot..metatarsals. I have been wearing asics for years..my last pair was perfect . Plattinum series...I need the arch support and cushion back please! And make toe area more narrow for folks who need it!

Gel Nimbus have been the best shoes for my back but the 21st edition are hard as bricks. So disappointed. Hopefully I can break them down to be softer?!? I would pass on this edition if you're looking for a shoe that feels like walking on clouds.

Need more gel and cushioning! My older ones had way more gel very disappointed. Cost is high. Didnt mind in the past shoes because they felt great but not my 21's need to go back. Do like that they are wider but that's it.

I like the shoe style and fit is so much better BUT this is no longer what I would call a GEL. This shoe used to mold around your foot. Now, I feel like I am walking and a brick. I will not buy again.

I have been wearing ASICS for 20 years Nibus runs 1/2 smaller. There seems to be less cushion in the forefoot. On my run yesterday the soles of my feet were sore FIRST TIME EVER. DId not meet my expectations. They feel stiff and not enough cushion. I am ready to try another brand. I am not sure why they keep changing the shoe.

Not the same fit as the 20! The 20 was more comfortable!

I have always loved the Kayanos and the Nimbus. I'm not sure why, but they have completely changed this shoe. Known for being one of the most comfortable, cushioned shoes Asics made, it is now hard, and nothing I could stand to be in all day. I'm so disappointed.

I have been running for years and have never fallen. On the second day using them for some reason I pitched forward, was not able to catch myself and fell flat on my face. I didn't break anything, just a bad bruise on my chin.
I am still using them, but very carefully. I think they are too much for me. I run 5xweek for 2 miles and am 78 years old. The surface was flat sidewalk with no cracks that I have been using for years with no problem.

I returned the shoes. The fit was not ideal for me, did not provide enough support.

I got this shoe because I have overpronating fee. I have bought Gt-2000 pretty much since they were first introduced. They changed the shoes to be mainly neutral, which is disappointing. I do not know why they changed them. I have to find another shoe now.

Very disappointed in ASIC for lowering the arch and decreasing the cushioning. Toe box is now bigger which is great but overall a very disappointing running shoe. What were you thinking? I have been purchasing the gel nimbus for well over 6 years. I think you just lost a customer!

was so excited for the 21 to come out. Thought it would have everything. The cushion can't compare to the 18!!Please bring back the cushion!! With so many reviews mentioning the missing cushion why cant you have as much as the 18?

I have wore nimbus for over 10 years now. I could always buy them and put them on and they instantly felt like clouds on my feet. I loved loved loved these shoes. Now the 20 and 21s have been such a huge disappointment. They are so hard ! No cushion. Please bring the old ones back.

Just received my Gel Nimbus 21. Sadly it runs a little short so I had to return. Still a well made shoe with good pronation and stability.

Over the (MANY) years I've worn Nimbus, I've found "Same Size Nimbus, Same Color, runs DIFFERENT depending on where made (ie: Nimbus made in China might run "normal ASICS size", while Nimbus made in Indonesia or Vietnam runs 1/2 size smaller.

Didn't notice cushion. It is still narrow. Asics had the perfect shoe with Nimbus 18. In hopes Asics would go back to Nimbus 18 I switched temporarily to Brooks. In comparison, I wear an 11.5 in Brooks and in these I have be go up to at least a 12 wide. I found the wide to be a bit snug. I'll try again with Nimbus 22 whenever it comes out

I have run 20+ marathons in Asics, and for the first time, I encountered a problem with the Asics Women's GT-2000 7. The thick padding on the right sneaker rubbed against my ankle and made it bleed when I went for a 5-mile run on two occasions. I also believe the height of the right sneaker was manufactured poorly and made too high and that's why it rubbed against my ankle. What a shame - I'll be looking for another sneaker brand.

I had bought this shoe before and it fit beautifully. However, the second pair hurt the bones in my feet. I bought them for walking shoes and had to buy another pair of another brand after about two weeks. I'd hoped they would stretch out and not hurt my feet anymore but that wasn't the case. I'm not sure why two pair of the same shoe would fit so differently.

Quality Issue with the construction of the shoe. The balance on the right shoe is off. I noticed on my second run and haven't worn the shoes again. Tried to dispute this with Asics, but have gotten nowhere.
