I have a huge problem getting a sneaker to feel comfortable for walking. I have bought at least 6 pairs of ASICS and have always bought a half size bigger than my normal shoe size, but recently I found that the sneakers run small and narrow. I wear a 8 shoe and when I bought a size 9-1/2, I had to return them and get a 10. Also, I have a narrow foot and the medium fits my foot perfectly.

Compared to other models, these feel like they have substantially less cushion when you first put them on. Also, the toe box is much wider. I bought my normal size, but the shoe felt too big overall because my toes were moving around, even with the laces tightened. I sized down a half size, to get a tighter fit, but the shoe felt too short. Naturally, i was hesitant to try them on a run, but am glad I did. These shore feel more springy, and less like you are sinking into a cushion like other models (the 18/19). After a few runs, they are breaking in nicely, and am enjoying running in them. They definitely do not offer the same cloud feel, but my legs feel less tired after a long run, and I hardly notice the difference after breaking them in a bit.

I ordered a half size up, and found these to be quite comfortable,good arch support , the toe box is a wee bit narrow but by no means tight.

Toe box decent, little lighter on cushion than previous models, and definitely 1/2 size small. I am a 7 in regular shoes, I wear 7.5 for athletic shoes for roomy fit, these are as snug as they could be and me still keep them

Really wanted these to work. They were comfortable and quite cute. But the toe box was really narrow. Thought about ordering a wide but they don't have it in stock.

These are pretty good fit for me. I always go up 1/2 size in tennis shoes, and I did in these too. Medium width seems like normal medium width to me (not too narrow as others have said), and they're pretty comfortable. They sort of have a flatter / firmer interior footbed but with squish underneath, which is the only part that seems a bit odd. My last Asics were Kayanos, and I feel like the whole footbed was a little softer. Otherwise, I'm pleased.

Looked great on, fit great but was just not enough cushioning. Was looking for the same cushioning I had in my ASICS Nimbus Gel 17, which were great. Unfortunately, they changed they style and they are not nearly as comfortable. My old ones were like walking on air from day one.

I am finding the Nimbus 21 as comfortable as my worn out 20's. I ordered the regular width, although ordering the wide was recommended by other reviews. The width is fine. I am not a runner, but walk 4-6 miles most every day. They were comfortable from the first wearing.
