good looking shoe but the size is way off. I wear a 12 and this pair is closer to a 10 1/2.

I love Asics but these didn't work out for me. Some of their models have really good arch support but these were flat. I have long, thin feet with high arches and my feet fell and rotated inward as soon as I put these on. Much prefer other models (usually they discontinue them once I find the perfect fit) like the Kahanas. Still, can't beat Asics for comfortable running or everyday shoes, and can't beat Zappos for customer service.

These shoes look great and have a ton of cushion in the heel. However, after walking around the house my feet began to cramp because the shoe was too narrow. I'm returning them and will try a half size larger.

Way too narrow (3" at center). All my 4E shoes are 3 3/4 - 4" wide. Too bad because the rest of the shoe is acceptable and light.

I was excited to buy my first pair of ASICS in about 10 years...but I was very disappointed in the fit. I have very large feet (size 14), but they are not wide, and I always wear regular/standard/medium width shoes. I can’t think of a time where a shoe was too narrow for me. But the ASICS were REALLY narrow — especially near the toes! The length was fine, but my toes were completely squished in from the sides (it felt like i imagine a pointy toed women’s drew shoe feels). The shoe was somewhat narrow in the body and back I’d the shoe, but not as ridiculously uncomfortable as in the toes. So disappointed — the style was great, and I wanted to have that comfy ASICS gel again...but when I looked for a wider size, the color I wanted (gray and shock yellow) wasn’t available (just an ugly black and red version). Plus, the wide ASICS are not just wide, they are EXTRA wide (i.e., 4EE!) I just sent them back and ordered a different brand.

This is a good all-round shoe for walking and such, but there is no way that this provides adequate support for running. The "worn out" running shoes that these were intended to replace absorb the impact of the road better than these do. I like them for walking and such - they fit well and are comfortable, but I am going to have to buy something else for running. I have injury-prone knees, and am now sitting here with a compression brace to deal with the pain from yesterday's run.

It was to small

Have ASICS gel venture 5 and they fit perfectly. The same size in this model doesnt fit at all. The shoe is small from top to bottom. Front to back is correct and true to size though. This shoe is for a very slender foot from top to bottom at the toe box. (Not a width problem per se). Returned them and took the ventures again.

Size was perfect, but the width was very narrow, ordered E4 shoe seemed more like a E2. No toe box room, both sides of foot stuck out on both sides of sole. Most disappointed with the width of these shoes.

Did not work for me. Narrows towards the front too fast and my toes were not comfortable even in extra wide, 4E.

12 D - New design with built up heel is irritating and non-functional. What was the value of raising the heel? Well, probably no value!

Toe box was too narrow for my liking (4E)

I bought these for my son. Per the reviews, I ordered up a half size. He wears a 7.5 Wide, and I bought these in an 8 Extra Wide. The length was correct, but they were narrow! Crazy. The black and white ones look great, though.

Great shoes like most Asics but not for me. The toe box is just a little smaller than other Asics shoes I have and therefore, I can't wear them. It's more a problem with my feet then the shoes. But is you're looking for really wide "wide shoes" you might like others better. Zappos service great and would send them back but I'm stuck with them as I pitched the original box. Looks like it's someone's lucky day.

I have the same shoe in a different color really liked thought I would get a second pair. Not remotely the same smaller all the way around. Pretty frustrating when you find a shoe you really like but buy a different color and not the same.

These are really nice looking shoes, but they were uncomfortable to wear. When I heard "gel" I thought the insole would be nice and comfy but it was way too firm. The base of the shoe is what they use the gel padding for and it does what is advertised. Overall these shoes were way too tight and uncomfortable me to wear. I would have traded them for a half size larger but there wasn't the level of comfort wearing that convinced me a larger size would do much better so I returned them.

These shoes look great. They felt great for about 3 weeks and then a hole in one of the heels developed and now I can't wear them anymore because they hurt my heel. Someone had warned me about this issue and I should have listened. Disappointed to say the least.

Bought these for my elderly dad as a birthday present. He always wears an 8.5 medium width in any shoe. He couldn’t even hardly get these on they were so narrow and once he did he said his toes felt squished in the narrow toe box. These look nice but unfortunately had to return them. Might be fine for someone with a narrow foot.

The shoes run small and are painful. This last pair I just bought is garbage.

I have worn a size 11 in ASICS for years and have always ordered them from Zappos. This pair is much smaller and actually painful to wear. Very disappointed and will not buy from Zappos again.
