Not true to size. Runs very narrow. My foot is a true D....I had to get a 2E.

I started to use from Nimbus 19. Model 19 is the softest cushion among three models 19, 20, and 21. All models are great but I wish that Nimbus 21 has more cushion. Also size of models are not the same. Model 21 and 19 are smaller than model 20. Since I purchased them on-line, model 21 is too small for me but strangely feel more cushion in size 8-4E than size 10.

Really wanted to love this shoe. Currently running in ASIC Gel-Cumulous that fit like a glove with pro step inserts. So much more cushion in the Nimbus but heel pocket felt sloppy and loose even with the same insert. Sticking with another pair of Cumulous for now.

I'm a long time Nimbus runner who's seen the shoe evolve with slight changes over the years. With the Nimbus 21 the toe box is now wider. If the previous shoe was too snug then you probably love the change. If the previous edition was a good fit for you, as it was me, now you have a toe box that allows your fore foot to slide about. I'm not thrilled with this change. If you thought the shoe was ugly before, you'll be comforted to know the 21 is the ugliest of all time with the way they have sculpted the foam - the profile of the shoe is just goofy imo.

The size I've purchased for years now seems too small. So I ordered the next size larger and it felt too big. What has happened? This brand has felt comfortable for years and years and now???????????????????

Not the Best Offering in the Nimbus Family. I have been a Nimbus convert since 17(best). Not as great as the 17 or 20's but better than the 18-19's. They felt flat when I first tried them on and they hurt. I am used to the cushy(walking on clouds)feeling from previous versions. I walk 25 miles per week and require this feeling and it was not as pronounced in this version. I did like the colour (blue)and the orange neon laces but bought them for comfort, not just the design.I ordered online and went with the tru size recommendation that was slightly larger than need. Should have went with my regular 10 1/2 rather than this recomondation. I am Ascics loyal and will not consider another brand but you keep playing with the design and have not found any consistency for this style.

I've had these for a couple months now, I'm just getting back into the swing of running regularly. I have run less than 70 miles on the road in these and the tread is almost gone in some areas. Down to the foam on my right foot. I started noticing the wear on rainy runs because i would slip on my push off. I could have received a defective pair, or I could just be hard on my shoes. I will be trying out other brands in the future after pretty much exclusively running in Asics for years.

I bought these shoes as they were recommended for achilles support. They are very cushy and have strong arch support. I really liked them for a month, then there seems to be a slight wrinkle on the right in the middle bottom which makes them a bit less comfortable. Maybe if I put in new insoles, they will work better again. It was nice they came in wide.

Very comfortable shoes. The insole, laces, and the shoe in general is very soft. The yellow color sticks out. They are a little snug in the front, but I didn't have any problems running. The length is perfect. Feet felt pretty good after running, a little ankle pain but overall good shoes.

I bought the shoe about a month ago to replace my 20's. I was excited about the new extra foam hoping for extra cushion and better ride. They work good for short runs but were not as comfortable on my long runs.

Only a week old. I put them side by side with my 20's and I don't really agree with some other comments suggesting that the 21's have a bigger toe box. The sole/platform is somewhat wider, but actual foot space is indeed smaller than the 20's. They aren't the most visually appealing Asics ever, but I got black and white so they can pass. I ended up a half size larger than my 20's and they will do for now. Not awful, and not great. I've probably a tough reviewer, in that I haven't been fully satisfied with my Asics shoes in recent years. The 21 continues that trend.

Worn this brand of shoe for about 10 years between asics and nike,,is it so complicated to make a white colored shoe these days..us older generations dont care for lime green/ blaze orange/ hot pink kinda look.

While I have not tried the 21's yet as they have not been released. I am truely disappointed in the color selection. How about adding some more color to the shoes. These are very boring!

The back heel of the shoe is different than any of the ASICS I've had before. I have been running for 15 years now , and unfortunately these are not up to standard not sure what to do with these shoes

I bought two pair (different colors) at the same time. The black and red did not fit comfortably. Even the laces were different. It seems that they were made differently - the fit was more narrow. Not consistent in same model with a different color.

Left sneaker has awful crease by the fourth toe... something to do with either the gluing or stitching of the inner lining. Otherwise, comfortable shoes good for neutral pronation.

I've been wearing Asics for years. I bought these during a sale as a backup. I've worn them on several runs hoping they'll break in, but they have not. They are light, look nice but the cushion is severely lacking compared to my other Gel-Nimbus pair. I won't be running in these.

Good shoe. However the "last" seems more narrow than my other Ascis sneakers. I fit tightly in my normal size 10.5m.. Toe box is fine but tight around the ankle area.

I have used ASICS gel products since high school track which has been roughly 28 years ago. I have been walking 6 miles for the last three years on and off. I always walk during the summer months into fall outside. I enjoy the fast paced walking and I do it for preventative health. I have a kidney disease and I am trying to keep myself from developing other ailments that run in my family. Coincidentally my father also walks 6 miles a day and uses ASICS as well. This summer I decided to try Brooks for the first time. They did not last for me with the daily wear and tear. I went back to ASICS and decided to try the Nimbus and love the look and feel of the shoe. I don't know what has happened though. My heels have been rubbed completely free of skin with this pair. I actually have blood in the back of my shoes from this. I am truly upset because I have trusted ASICS most of my life and don't understand what happened here. I have had to take a week off of walking to allow them to heal. This summer has been a wreck for shoes. Three pairs in one summer and I am bummed. I don't know what to do now because the ASICS Nimbus 21 are new and comfortable outside of the heal issue. They are not cheap shoes and I feel let down from a brand I have trusted. What happened ASICS?

Logged around 25 miles in these thus far thinking they will 'break in' but to no avail. These feel firm and clunky as other reviewers have mentioned when I was expecting a soft ride. Long time Brooks Ghost user and sometimes try other brands to see how they are progressing. Having dabbled in a Cumulus shoe before, gave these a try since they are supposed to be the most cush in the running line. The 21's are not it. Perhaps it's just this model but I can't continue with these. Will be relegated to walking or casual use.

Right foot shoe hit my big toe in a painful way - all else was awesome. Wish I could have made an easy "in store" exchange for another pair. it might have been a defect in the shoe... #brickandmortar! Who knows..

Not a big fan of the "21". I've always bought them because of the great cushioning of the shoe. I loved the "19" because they had great cushion. I don't feel the "21" cushion as well as the "19". Always been a big fan of ASICS Gel-Nimbus. May have to look elsewhere.

I have to say they did not work for me. I was replacing Nimbus 18's with these and there must be a difference. Within the first few runs I developed knee tendon pain. I switched back to the 18's and the pain subsided. I ran in a competitors shoe and did not have any pain as well. The shoes are well made and comfortable walking around but I cannot use them as running shoes. They changed something from the previous models and not for the better. Will not be continuing with the Nimbus line going forward.
