I've suffered with Achilles tendinitis form more than a year. The style and comfort of this particular shoe, not only accommodates my foot nicely, it allows me to work As a nurse on a fast paced hospital unit, at an improved and less painful pace. I've tried and failed the use of many other recommended shoes. These are actually my third and fourth pair of this exact shoe I've purchased in the past 6 months. If something works for you, you should let it.

As always love my Gel Excite. They are guaranteed to fit my wide feet and tight weave material to keep my crazy toe from wearing a hole in the shoe for at least a year They are the most comfortable shoe I can find!

I didn't know what to expect at such a great price but Asics really has a winner hear. Its a very basic shoe but extremely solid and comfortable. I can walk around in these for hours and they still feel good. They're aren't crazy looking so look very nice for a middle age guy. The only downside is these are not great for running, good but not great. They're a little too stiff and flat landing, so I opt for some other shoes most of the time. However if you want to run in these they should last many miles. I expect many years of comfortable activity in these great little shoes!

I bought this last year and I am so happy to tell you that is the best running show i ever had. It' s so confortable, breathable and light.
