I am on my feet 8 hours a day on concrete floors. I have been wearing airmax 270 from Nike for quite a while. After Nike’s latest ordeal with the American flag, I thought it was time to change companies. ASICS kept coming up so I have these a try. They are as comfortable if not more comfortable than the nike airmax 270 and fit better, I have a large foot (12-13) and the nikes are normally a little snug in the width. These are perfect in just normal medium width. I have worn them for 2 weeks to work every day and they do great. I ordered another pair already.

I am not a runner, but I consistently get my 10,000+ steps in, in a day. These shoes are very comfortable and they look sharp. I have never been disappointed with Asics shoes in the past and this pair is no exception.

I bought these shoes for my husband who walks outdoors - vigorously - every day. He has been wearing Asics for years now and he said these shoes are his favorite. The style is great. The fit is comfortable and best of all - they really cushion your feet on cement. Excellent shoes!

Great entry level road running shoe. Fits is perfect. Materials are high quality. Breathes well. However, I just bought them to wear casually. for running, I prefer a higher level shoe.

Fit and comfort were great right out of the box. I wear a size 15 shoe and when I order that from another brand, I have had to send them back. The ASICS GEL-Excite are good for me.

Size and fit are okay. Be warned that the insole is glued in to the shoe. If you were thinking of adding your own insoles, it could make for an uncomfortable squish of insole-on-insole or become too tight for your foot. Another disappointment with the glued insole is that you can feel the gap between the edge of the shoe wall and the insole, as the insole it comes with isn't exactly cut to cover the entire area between wall to wall. I much prefer the insole on the Asics Cumulus line.

My husband needed new shoes for work and I instantly thought of Zappos. Shipping was pretty fast and quick at my door, I can always count on Zappos. My husband is very satisfied.

Overall this shoe was great! My boyfriend has narrow feet so after reading reviews that this shoe is narrow I decided this would work for him. He says it fits great and is very light. We bought his true size of 10.5 first and it was a bit too snug in the toe area. That was solved by sizing up to the 11. The style of this show is great because it doesn’t look overly athletic/gaudy and does not look like an orthopedic/comfort shoe. His previous pair of ASICS were a similar style and color which he liked and wore through.

Run about 50 miles weekly.Looking for quality cheaper shoe to soak up mileage and not cost too much. Very comfortable and no pain on longer runs.

I've been wearing GEL-Excites for the the past couple of years as my day to day shoes, because they have just the write amount of room in the toe box, which is usually my problem area. The Excite 6 already seems more confortable than the 4 (seems less likely to rub at the heel). All around great comfortable shoe so far with a good amount of arch support and seemingly more cushion than the previous model.

I normally wear 9.5. In a running shoe I wear 11. This fits perfectly.

Shoes were comfortable for walking. While running, it felt like the right shoe was wider than the left. The cushioning was very soft even early in a run. Would have been fine for walking.

Guess I have to give up on buying womens shoes in ASICS. They are getting smaller and smaller. Too bad since I really liked ASICS in the past.
