I've bought asics for over 10 years. Good: Fit true to size, look nice Bad: not as much support/cushion as previous asics, top of heel/ankle area hits higher up on heel/foot area causing rubbing-they were starting to form a blister after wearing teaching all day-I've never had new asics cause blisters.

This shoe falls into the 'order it at least a half size bigger' ASICS category and I did - 1/2 size bigger fits but has almost no support under the toes - it just seems to end at the base of my toes and the full size bigger just doesn't have enough 'gel' support at all - at least not as much as the old ASICS I've bought for years. This shoe would be fine for 'everyday' (like the footbed insert says) if you're younger - but it's not enough support and 'gel' cushion for my aging hips and back. Too bad - I like the nice bright colors...I'm sick of dull dark, athletic shoes ...thanks Zappos.

So I ordered a wide to avoid the narrow problems people mentioned, but that did nothing for the heal which was strangely too narrow? I’ve worn ASICS for 30 years. They’ve been the best shoes but I guess not anymore. Frustrated. Seems like all shoes are junk now.

I wanted to like these because they are a nice looking pair of sneakers and were rather comfortable... BUT the material is so cheap and flimsy and unsupportive. I can't imagine running in these at all. I'd say they are best suited for casual wear; comparable to Sketchers. You could see the outline of my toes through the thin material...

Shoe runs small. Fit was short and too tight.

I am usually a size 8 in ASICS but I had to order a size 8 1/2. And though the bigger size gave me more toe room, the shoe still felt narrow. The shoe did not slip on comfortably. The Baked Pink color looks pink online but in person it looks more of a light peach.

The last (sole) is not curved enough for my foot. Asics used to have some shoes with a curved last, now it seems less so. The front of my foot needs that curve to accomodate the ball of foot and toes. Altra Shoes do a much better job of this. Also - the insole is glued in place, and I need a removable insole.
I'd also recommend:
New Balance, Altra (though the bend of fabric in the forefoot creases right over the top of your toe

This shoe runs small by 1/2 size. The recommended size was not accurate.

I only wear Asics running shoes and typically wear a design for overpronators. I decided to try this model out because my daughter uses this for her shoe lift (the sole of the shoe is separated and additional rubber is added, so anything with gel on the outside won't work for her). She finds them comfortable, but it lacked the support I need. I suspect that she'll want "fancier" shoes as soon as she no longer needs the added lift on one side.

The shoes are a bit tight near the toes and do not have much arch support. I have run a few times and there is not enough cushion. I will be sending them back.

very comfortable , until you stand up cushioning is strange, like walking on a balloon, actually feels a bit unstable to me and bothers my back

My second pair of failed Asics: After a couple long walks, woke up the next morning with painful cramps in my arches and general foot and calf soreness. I've never had this happen before Asics, so these shoes are just not built for my foot. (Love the way they look though...)

This shoe does not appear to have the arch support I need because I have falling arches. Will have to return. Zappos have been great in letting me return. Thank you Zappos.

The Indigo/pink color was great but there was not any support through the arch or heel. It advertises “amplifoam” and there is some squish to the sole of the shoe, but not near enough for regular running or high impact cardio. Sending back and would recommend the Gel Kayano 25.

Very cramped in the toe box and strange pressure point on the top of the foot and the Achilles. I usually wear Altras, but I've been searching for something with a bit of arch support which still offers the width

Going by all the great reviews, I ordered these thinking I had to size up a half size. Normal true size 7.5, normally I have to size up a half size in all Asics. Ha! These were HUGE! I think I could have sized down a half size! Now I don't feel like trying to get the right size, because I don't have a clue what size I would be! Other than the crazy sizing, it might be a good shoe.

Not happy. The shoe seems too big in the toe area. When walking I heard a slapping sound like I had on clown shoes. Whats going on Asics??

Nice looking shoe. I normally wear a size 5 and this was a 5. I couldn't even put my foot in the shoe. Thanks for letting me try Zappos! You are pretty much the only place that carries my size.

These shoes were nice looking and fit me well BUT I really bought them for comfort not realizing that they do not have any arch support. Because I have high arches, they cause my feet to turn inward and put extreme strain on my ankles and shins. If you are flat footed, they may be okay for you but if you have normal or high arches I recommend trying something different like the gel zirus 2 because this shoe is DEFINITELY not for you.

I wanted to love these shoes. They look great, but I am having foot pain from running and walking. I’ve never had an issue like this. My big toe has been hurting and I think it has something to do with these shoes. I almost always have pain with these shoes, but not with my other running shoes.

These would be great for anyone without plantar faciitis. They had very little arch support, and after wearing them for awhile, my ankle started to hurt.
