I've had my shoes for two weeks. The colors are beautiful and they are comfortable, but they are already tearing around the inner ankles.

Well I should have heeded the reviews. Everything about this shoe seemed fine until I actually walked in them. They were the correct length and width but they were tight on the top of the toe box. Too much pressure on my already sensitive toe joint.
I used to wear ASICS all the time. They used to fit perfectly. But now all the shoe companies are saving money by cutting down on materials. So instead of a shoe stitched to size they are all woven and knitted. So they don’t fit the same way. They feel cheaper because they are made more cheaply.

I kept the shoes as a spare pair of shoes to keep in the trunk of my car, but I probably should have just returned them. Overpriced in my opinion.

Unfortunately I’m between sizes and have to go up to a size 13. Wish they still offered narrows -a bit wide in the heel for me but overall comfortable. I’ll use these for walking-so I can adjust the fit.

I have worn this style of ASICS for over 30 years. I think they have started making them much too narrow for me. I need a very wide toebox. I have transitioned to the gel Nimbus. I recommend the Nimbus if you need a wide toebox.

The footbed on the Gel Nimbus 21 is not as soft or cushioned as the 20. Also the ankle is more narrow on the 21. I kept the shoe any way and the narrow ankle was not a problem, just wish they had more of a cushion footbed.

Love the support and cushioning of the GEL-NIMBUS 21. My only problem with this ASICS product is that the shoe is narrow compared to the many other ASICS I have purchased over the years. I debated whether I should return them because of this issue. I have decided to keep them and I hope I am not making a mistake. I have to wear them for a while to determine this. Please go back to previous width.

Strangely I have another version of this shoe that I bought last year and they are very supportive but these lot so much. They are fine for everyday wear but I need to get something more supportive for my daily walks.

I tried this exact shoe on at a store, but purchased from Zappos because it was almost $50 cheaper and I prefer to make all shoe purchases from Zappos. Unfortunately, the shoe did not fit. Even tho the size was wide - it did not feel it. Very tight. She shoe was the same in every way - but did not fit the same. Disappointed and had to send back.

Was excited to get these and start a running routine again. I have always ran in Asics - I have a slight underpronate. I normally wear a size 6.5 but these run small. While I really have not worn them because they are too small, they also felt stiff. Will be returning these and looking at reviews of others so see if there is one that is better

Order 1 full size up. I have been in Asics for over 20 years and they seem to gradually lessen the quality of the shoe after each new version. They do not last as long as they should. This version is better than the previous 2000-6 as that shoe the seams break apart after a couple of months I haven't had this problem with this shoe, other than breaking down a little too quickly and the tread not as sturdy. I would say this shoe isn’t great for high mileage (I run marathons) But, I stay with Asics, because I can't find a narrow enough shoe for my AAA foot width.

I just received my Gel-Nimbus 20 last week and wore them the first time the other day and not too happy with the overall design or comfort! I am a creature of habit and I have been a fan of this particular model of ASICS for a very long time. I have purchased 17, 18, 19 and now the 20's and absolutely loved the style and the comfort of them all but I am not impressed with the latest model. The shoe design is alittle wider in the toe and there is not nearly enough cushion in them compared to the older models in the gel-nimbus. I still love the colors tho but Not a satisfied buyer this time!!

Seems like Asics are making their sneakers smaller. The toe boxes in my opinion are smaller. I have my own orthotics and usually they fit ok. but I notice a smaller toe box lately. I purchased another pair of Asics in wide to accommodate the toe box.

Revised review..... After wearing them for a while I have developed problems in my foot. Unfortunately, I am just past the return period. Asics was my go to running shoe, but this one missed the mark. I think I need to find a new brand.

I was disappointed in these Asics (GT-2000 7). They were about a 1/2 size too small, and didn't provide good support. Other Asics shoes that I have purchased were much better constructed, so I will return these and probably have to spend more money to get a better shoe.

I have worn GT 2000 series for years and the GT 2000 7 are the first ones that don’t fit like any of their predecessors. There is not enough cushion in the foot bed. Also, I always order a 1/2 size bigger and they are short in length. Unfortunately, I returned them and will wait for the 8 to come out.
