My son wears a 5.5 or 6 Big Kid in sneakers, but this style shoe was very large on him in his size.
I re-ordered and fits better in a size 4.5; a whole size smaller than his true size.
I'd also recommend:
Nike for kids with a narrow heel/foot.

I have always loved Sperrys, partly because they are easy to slip on and off, but also they are comfortable. But mostly because they're adorable. The only thing that I wish I could change is it takes a while to wear down enough that my ankle bone doesn't rub on the side. I wish they were just a little bit lower on the outside edge. Other than that, they're perfect! And being an adult wearing a size 3 in children's is difficult to find in the stores, so ordering them directly from you guys makes it so much easier. At least once a year I get a new pair of Sperry's and wear them until they fall apart.

First, I'm not a Kid. I'm female in my 40s who decided to look at Boys/Kids sizes 4.5 since women's don't have Sperry wide sizes in 5.5. I found this 4.5 W in Big Kids. the length is okay for someone who normally wears 6 or 5.5 in Women's. The width is pretty true to width as well. HOWEVER, the brown I got does not really coincide with the brown that was shown on the posted ad. The brown I got was a lot darker than the brown posted on Zappos, which appeared to be more on the caramel brown side--which I loved. I may end up returning these due to the color. We'll see. I hope the photo helps.

I ordered a 1.5 w and the shoe was able to fit my narrow size 4 child! They’re HUGE lengthwise but look narrow despite being a wide.

The shoes fit fine and are comfortable according to my son. He wears these to school mass once a week. The bottom of the shoe is completely worn down after about a dozen wears. He doesn't have recess on the days he wears these shoes so this is normal walking around at school. The rest of the shoe is in fine shape so it's a cheap material on the sole, which is a pretty important part of a shoe. Terrible quality and a complete disappointment. These were pricey shoes to only last a dozen wears.

Very Nice looking shoes. My son uses it with school uniform. They run at least 1/2 size to full size larger as most reviewers stated. Color is exact as online photo. However, they have functional laces -online picture was deceiving. I was hoping to avoid that. All in all I’m very happy and will purchase again and recommend.

These are the first pair of non-sneaker/sandals my son has been able to wear. He has high insteps and wide - extra wide feet, and the adjustable laces provide more give.

Just enough dressed up but still a little fun. I wasn't sure about the camo but decided to give them a try for my son and he loves them. He commented how comfortable they are. Perfect for summer church or getting a little dressed up.

My normal shoe size is a 6.5 wide in women's but women's shoes are still often too narrow. I ordered these in a 4.5 wide and they fit! Very comfortable and stylish. Remind me of a pair I had in middle school.

I wear 7.5 in Sperry’s for women and had to buy 5.5 in kids. They fit perfectly. What I like most about these shoes is that they have leather uppers both exterior and interior - there is no substitute when wearing without socks! I was replacing a beloved pair of 5-year-old, worn-daily, leather Sperry Boat Shoes that they no longer make. I am thrilled to say that these fit the bill perfectly. The added dividend is the price: better shoes for less money = complete satisfaction.

Very nice! I’m a women and I love your Sperry brand, usually in the boys section. I wear an appliance in one shoe, so I need a well made, good support shoe. I have many Sperry brands. Love them!
