Customers Say

Customers love these boat shoes for their high quality, stylish appearance, and 100% leather construction. They are versatile, working well for Easter dress-up occasions. The fit receives mixed feedback, with some finding them true to width while others say they run large. Durability is also mixed, with several customers reporting that the laces break within six weeks of use.

My son wears a 5.5 or 6 Big Kid in sneakers, but this style shoe was very large on him in his size. I re-ordered and fits better in a size 4.5; a whole size smaller than his true size.

Also recommend

Nike for kids with a narrow heel/foot.

Reviewed at Sperry

I have always loved Sperrys, partly because they are easy to slip on and off, but also they are comfortable. But mostly because they're adorable. The only thing that I wish I could change is it takes a while to wear down enough that my ankle bone doesn't rub on the side. I wish they were just a little bit lower on the outside edge. Other than that, they're perfect! And being an adult wearing a size 3 in children's is difficult to find in the stores, so ordering them directly from you guys makes it so much easier. At least once a year I get a new pair of Sperry's and wear them until they fall apart.

First, I'm not a Kid. I'm female in my 40s who decided to look at Boys/Kids sizes 4.5 since women's don't have Sperry wide sizes in 5.5. I found this 4.5 W in Big Kids. the length is okay for someone who normally wears 6 or 5.5 in Women's. The width is pretty true to width as well. HOWEVER, the brown I got does not really coincide with the brown that was shown on the posted ad. The brown I got was a lot darker than the brown posted on Zappos, which appeared to be more on the caramel brown side--which I loved. I may end up returning these due to the color. We'll see. I hope the photo helps.
