Finally found the perfect summer running shorts for fit girls without a thigh gap. I've been running for 10 years now and put the miles in every week. I've done 4 full marathons and countless halfs, 10ks and 5ks. But not matter what, my thighs are large and summer running has always been a love-hate relationship. I've tried body glide. But on long training runs, it wore off. And the inevitable chafe wore on. Regular running shorts always rolled up, letting my thighs turn up the friction on each other, no matter how many times I corrected the wardrobe malfunctions. But, Brooks has finally given me the greenlight to avoid the dreaded summer chafe! I was so pleased with my first run that I immediately ordered a second pair. If you're all thighs like me, you'll probably love these shorts. Get 'em, girl!

These shorts are comfier than all my other workout clothes. I have other biker shorts that I liked but only before I met these shorts. They are not hot, which is really important in Texas heat. They don't ride up or constrict my legs or chafe or anything, and they wash beautifully. I have already ordered more of them because it's all I want to wear for spring and summer exercise. The only thing that would make them better is if they came in other colors or black with accent colors!

I love these! I train and run in them. They are super comfortable and have a thick high waistband that cinches you in nicely. I tried running with my iPhone 11 (in otterbox) in the side pocket today and it was great! I want more pairs!

Love these! Ran small for my large quads. I usually wear a size small or medium, but went with a large. So far, so good. Phone easily fits in the side pockets. Best of all, absolutely NO chafing, which can be really difficult to find!

LOVE!!! The pockets are super great. Good length and they stayed put, even without a drawstring. PLEASE make them in more colors/patterns.

Best running shorts I have ever owned. I purchased them in preparation for my Spring 2020 marathon (obviously did not happen). I have been running in them all spring and summer and they are incredible. They have a small back pocket that is the perfect size for holding keys and large side pockets that are perfect for holding my iPhone. I struggle with chafing while running, but not in these!

These are my new favorite running shorts. I like slipping my phone into the side leg pocket, so I can run with my hands free. They are really comfortable and flattering as well. 10/10 would recommend. I am 5/6 and 130lbs - wearing a size small

I love these shorts! The high waist makes them flattering and they fit true to size. I'm 5'9" and 138 lbs and ordered a medium which was perfect. The shorts right up on my thighs SLIGHTLY, but not much and it doesn't bother me at all. I actually like where they fall on my thighs when I'm running better than other 7 inch biker shorts that I have. Looking forward to wearing these on many of my long runs and for future races!

Love these shorts! They are the perfect length and I can keep my cell phone and gals handy at all times! They don't ride up or bunch on my big old thighs so I have no complaints here! I love these!

I purchased a pair of Brooks running shorts @ 6 years ago and wore them for my first marathon! I loved them especially bc they didn't ride up of chaffe, but they lacked a side pocket for my phone. When I saw these online w 2 pockets I knew I wanted to get them. I am 5'2" 117 and ordered a small. I think they run true to size.

These are my favorite running shorts. The two big pockets on either side are large enough to hold all my gels for a marathon, a phone, keys, and more. There's also an additional pocket in the waistband. The material is soft and comfortable that you sometimes forget you're wearing shorts! The wide waistband is comfortable and keeps everything held in. They are also great for yoga and the gym.

These are the best shorts ever. I don't review things at all, I'm just never moved to if they just meet expectations. But these shorts have changed my world. The medium fits true to size. They are fit snugly but not like compression (which I hate) and the best part, the legs do not move. Not a millimeter! The pockets are great for iPhone and key and a gel packet. They are tight and deep so that whatever you put in there stays put and doesn't bounce around or out. I've washed them three times now (cold water, no dryer) and they are remaining as good as when I bought them. I'm buying another pair because I want them for every workout. Would love them in other colors (Navy? Gray?)

I wear a size 4 in all of my pants. I couldn’t even pull these up over my thighs. I ordered a medium also and it was a tight but comfortable fit. May try the large also just to see how it fits. I love the style though with the side pockets that my iPhone X fits in perfectly. It would be nice if the back pocket had a zipper like many of my other running pants for either cash or a credit card.

I had to return this product in both a M and L because the sizing did not work for me. The medium was weirdly tight in the waistband & the large was way too big in the legs. I'm 5'10", athletic build & narrow waist. Otherwise a great design concept - the mesh sides are fantastic for hot weather & the length is very flattering. Wish I could have found a size to keep!

Too big the waist (I tried several sizes - the fit just isn’t right). These ride up the crotch area when you walk/run. I don’t recommend/not comfortable.

I use these for mountain biking in the woods and they stay in place all around. Also I can store my phone in the side pocket and it doesn't budge. They are very flattering, durable feeling, and I don't have to constantly pull the pant leg portion down like for shorter styles.

Amazing. Nice and snug, they don't move and they actually hold my phone without me worrying it'll fall out. Long enough to not ride up on the legs either. Thank you Brooks!

Love these tights!! I'm 5'10 and they are FAR shorter on me than the person in the picture. If you have long legs and want these to fit like they do on the model, maybe consider getting the 9" tights. I like mine on the short side and I think they're perfect! The sizing was accurate (the XS was perfect for me) and they don't ride up or slide down! Love them!!

I love the length of these bike shorts and the fact that they have large deep pockets. They are not as comfortable as the longer version of the greenlight tights. They are tighter around the waist. Maybe to make up for the fact that there is not as much fabric elsewhere for compression.

These are my favorite shorts! I love that they are a little bit longer and don't ride up at all when I'm running. the shorts are compressive and stay in place. The side pockets are awesome and fit my phone, keys, and gels for longer runs.

I love these shorts so much, I bought three! They're long enough to prevent chafing, but they keep you cool during workouts. They're fitted, so they hold you in during a run if you're a bit soft like me. After two years of many runs and half marathon training, they're still holding up well.

Great running/biking shorts to prevent rubbing. Love them so much I bought as a gift for my sister.

Fantastic shorts. I have been wearing these for the last 6 months and they are perfect for all of my workouts. The pockets keep my phone and keys still and the waistband stays put the entire run. I initially bought two pairs and after trying them out I bought two more; they're now my go-to warm weather bottoms.

My favorite shorts to run in - I have two pairs. I can fit some chews and a small water bottle in the side pocket, and phone and keys on the other side. They don't slip down even carrying all that stuff! My thighs can chafe on longer runs and the length of these shorts means I don't have to wear leggings when it's warm out.
