The heel area was too big and the shoe does not close above the zipper. Zipper should have come all the way up maybe. Horrible fit. My foot was coming out of the shoe. I have been a big Born fan until this purchase. This is truly a failure by Born. I have the brown boot from a couple of years ago with the same sole. I love them. That is why I purchased this blue pair. Total flop. I will be returning as soon as I can make the trip to a UPS STORE. Please look at my history and you will see I have bought mostly Born and Clarks.

Loved the look, but was not deep enough for my orthotics. Had to return.

big toe in both boots hit frame....uncomfortable

I have a moderately high arch, have never had this dilemma before but the opening is so small I am unable to insert my foot.

Disappointing purchase. Ordered size 9, and they fit like a size 8. The boots are defective as they are shaped differently. Right boot has a square toe; left boot has rounded toe. Look ridiculous. Returning immediately.

This boot just is not for me. Too narrow at tors, too wide at heel.

This item was clearly worn. It even had insoles and feet imprints. Disgusted. I am extremely disappointed with Zappos

I have ordered several pairs of these boots in this color, hoping for a pair that didn't squeak. No luck. Other colors don't squeak, just the gray. So disappointed.

The fit was bigger than other pairs I have ordered in the same size. Also, these boot squeak when you walk. I give up. I have ordered multiple pairs and they all squeak. Just this color though.

Order these shoes but had to return them. I'm typically a size 8 and of course, one foot is a little bit bigger than the other. Now the shoe on the smaller foot falls right off when I took a step forward and the other one seams a 1/2 size too small. Very strange design.

loved the looks of this boot, but absolutely almost a full size too small. i can usu. wear size 11 in borns and some clarks but this was way too tight. the color and boot looked great(distressed brown). wish they went up to size 12. apparently most shoe companies think feet stop growing once they reach 11. i think they're missing out on a huge market for us with larger feet. rating of comfort and overall not accurate as they didn't fit. but as always zappos is exemplary!

The heel was entirely too big. I've never had an issue like this. I would slip around. I love the style. So cute. But sadly had to return. This is the first time I've tried Born shoes. Kinda wondering if they are all like this...

Lace broke first time I tied them. Not much ankle support

Bought these for my wife for Christmas; she put them on New Years Day and the zipper popped off. Very disappointed. Looks nice. Built to fall apart.

This shoe was bigger than a 6. Like the brand but not true to size

Love love love these boots. Even though I have a narrow foot, perfect fit all around. No issues with heel being too roomy.

hurt badly

Extremely uncomfortable. The ankle opening is way too loose, causing the foot to slide forward and completely crush my toes. Also, heel kept slipping up when walking.

I could not get it on my foot to try on!

They didn't fit, far too narrow, and I don't have narrow feet. They looked great and I'm disappointed that I had to return them.

The heels are so wide they don’t stay on your feet at all. The front of the shoe fits but the back is like a flip flop.
