Like everyone else, the heel was way too wide for me. The distressed brown was also not quite the color I was looking for. Had to return.

I love these shoes and they are quite comfortable. However, on the second wear, there was a give across the width that makes them unwearable. I tighten the strings a little bit then they look different. After wearing with the tightened strings, they gave more. I’ve never had this issue with a born shoe. Be advised that I have a wide toe box. They stretch so much after the second wear that they are too wide for me.

Ordered my usual size, 8 1/2, but they were loose in the heel. Smaller size would have been too short. Even with thick socks they were still loose, caused socks to slide down. for the cost, not happy with these boots!

I own 5 pairs of Born boots and these shoes fit completely different. These shoes are so cute, but narrow toe box and my heel slipped with every step.

I usually wear 8 1/2, but had to return for a size 9. These boots are cute, but have a strange fit and are sock-eaters.

I have wide feet and so went up a size from my usual 8.5. As I had seen mentioned in other reviews, the heel was oddly wide and slipped off my foot with every step. The toes seemed to fit well enough, if a little snug still, but the heel issue was enough to immediately start a return.

Ordered a 6 a little tight in the toe, ordered a 61/2 huge , slipped in the heel as many people said even with socks on. So disappointed with Born shoes lately. You can never trust the fit. Sent 61/2 back probably also 6 although thinking they may stretch. Just not sure.

Felt small and tight. Not comfortable at all.

I agree with other reviewers who found the heel box to be unusually wide. My foot was so loose I couldn't easily walk in them. I usually wear 8.5 and that's what I ordered. Had to return them. Not sure a half size smaller would've addressed the heel issue so I ordered a different bootie in exchange. Nice looking boot but the cutouts on the sides looked a little odd when you put them on.

Felt like my foot was pushing forward, which gave me extra room at heel but made my big toe press into the hard front of this shoe.

I have always loved born shoes, but these do not allow room for any socks..fit fine without them, but i always wear socks! Love tha style so dont know what to do now...try an 11??...I always wear a 10. I will be returning.

I want to LOVE them. I like them a lot! I hoped that they would form to my foot like other Borne boots but I just can wait them out any longer. The leather is so stiff. Hurt my feet so much :( I wish it were different.

First, not having wide feet, I was so disappointed these Born boots were abnormally narrow for being listed as medium width. Second, I had ordered a half size up from my regular size first but had to reorder to a full size up the second time. Even that didn’t help. For me, they ran at least a full size too small. Both pair were returned.

The heel on these is sooooo loose! They are impossible to wear without some added heel supports. Don't buy unless you're willing to do this. I returned them. Too bad they're so beautiful.

A very cute boot that would nice with leggings but I found them to be a full size too small.

I love these boots, but they fit horribly. I was so sad to have to return them! My heel slips up and my toes then slide to the front and get jammed. For me, the inserts didn't help.

I returned the first pair of these at 7.5 and ordered the next size up 8 - Even the size 8's are tooooo tight across the bridge of my foot - unbearably tight across the top of my foot. I thought these were the coolest style - but unfortunately they are made for not M feet which I have been my whole life. Definately built for a slim foot. Thanks though - really liked them but I'm returning the 8.

I wanted to be able to keep these. Heel was not narrow enough and toe box was not wide enough for me.

They are way to big in the heel as other persons have mentioned.

Although I ordered my size (in every other shoe), these shoes were too short. For the price I was greatly disappointed in Born. They should do better.

Love the look and style of this little boot, however, something is off with the sizing in the heel. Born boots, size 8, are a staple of my wardrobe but this boot continued to slip off my heel even with thick socks. I was disappointed to have to return them. I am considering trying a 7.5 but worried that they might be too tight in the toes.

I did not like anything about these shoes. The color was a ginger which is a rust color and the fit was very loose in an 8 1/2 which is what I normally wear in born.

I am a 6 for years. All 6m are perfect. This boot is so narrow I can barely get it on. Sad to return

The boots had a big gap between the zipper and the rest of the boot.
