The toe box was too pointed fit a shoe that was 6E in width
I'd also recommend:
Only New Balance makes shoes that are wide enough. I had hope these shoes would work

I haved to go along with others in reviewing this shoe, I have really wide feet and the 608 was always a go to shoe. Changing the material isn't that big a deal but changing the design of the shoe is. Yeah less cushion but the biggest change is shape. The earlier design had a more rounded toe a large toe box. This version is more pointed, smaller toe box and now my big toe rubs against the side of the shoe and irritates the nail, painful. So now have to find another shoe design with a bigger toe box. won't be buying any more of these

The 608 fit as advertised. I suffered from toe cramps with my previous shoes. With the wide toe box on the 608, I am not experiencing cramps.

Nice looking shoe, felt good except it felt tight in the area of the big toe, It rubbed.

Got a pair for my dad as a gift, they are really swag and heckin comfy and stuff. He likes the grey after wearing white for so long and wears them almost exclusively. These shoes will be used to their fullest potential and be hailed as a successful christmas gift for at least half a generation.

I purchased a 6E shoe only to find it too tight in the toe. Need to find 8E. New Balance sneakers are just damn dull....the opposite of stylish.
