Excellent!

Purchased these for my husband to replace the discontinued 624, which he wore faithfully for many, many years. My husband wears a 14EE, which is not an easy size to obtain. The 608V5 is not a good replacement, as it runs way too small. A better alternative seems to be the 623V3, but he has not worn them yet. Needless to say we are very disappointed that New Balance discontinued the 624 .

The shoes are great, but I'm most impressed with Zappos superlative service. I was assisting someone who wears a brace due to a stroke. I had no idea where to start as the shoes she was wearing were miles too big, and she needed two different sizes. Because of Zappos great return policy and excellent service we managed to get her a perfect fit through trial and error, in the shoe recommended by her doctor. Good luck making that happen in a brick and mortar.

They fit well

They hurt so much that I have to buy other shoes now. Too narrow, too short. Maybe they're trying to save money...

Everything felt okay except needs a little more room in the toe area (size 9.5, 4e) and the tongue irritated top of foot.

Gift for husband. Said they are the most comfortable sneakers he has ever had. Has been wearing them for a year and still in good shape. They are very stylish. The black laces look better and white sneaker does not look as dirty as white sneakers usually become after wearing for awhile.

I have been wearing New Balance footwear for 30 years and these are the first pair where the sole has detached from the shoe. It's time for me to try another brand.

Good Size would have liked if they were 6ee

Bought these for my husband. He said everything was fine except the tongue was not padded, which left him with discomfort on the top of his feet.

Shoes felt narrower and smaller than my previous 608 4e. Toe box is is smaller and narrower. Shoes were uncomfortable. These shoes are not the same as my previous three pairs. Disappointed with New Balance.

Smaller than expected

This sneaker fit me perfectly.

My husband really likes his new shoes. He is a teacher so on his feet a lot. He said they are very comfy and plans to look for more.

Have been wearing this shoe for years as it is the only shoe that doesn't make my feet hurt.

NB comes through yet again. An American classic. I wear the 608 sneaker with a Superfeet Green insole and am duly impressed by the comfort and durability of the set up. Thanks NB!

I order a new pair every year, after 600-800 miles of neighborhood walking and the old pair become that year's lawn-mowing shoes. On my 10th or 12th pair.

The manufacturers need to have standards for sizing; Shoes are either too big or too small. My husband is 78 years old and has worn size 101/2 or 11 his entire life. It is impossible to buy shoes without trying them on in the store.

New design with less white and blue laces is much better than prior 608 models. I find arch support inadequate so I replace insoles with a pair of SuperFeet inserts.

I have always purchased the 608 style and the brand it is a great comfortable sneaker. I will continue to purchase that style again.
