I usually get the 608v4 but it's was discontinued so I tried the new 608. The toe box was too narrow and I was not comfortable with the insoles. The D width was fine in general but not in the area of the toe box. I really miss the 608v4.

I agree with some other, this shoe runs small. It's shorter and narrower than the 608v4 which I loved. Time to search for another trainer. I never understand why these companies change the fit of existing styles.

My wife has worn NB shoes for many years, so we know her size. This shoe ran more than a full size short! If you have short toes, it might work. If you have normal toes, you might get by with a half-size to a size larger. If you have long toes, I do not recommend this shoe. If you go more than a full size away from your normal shoe size, you run a risk of having the arch of the shoe in the wrong place.

Walking in these shoes was like wearing cement boots

The NB 600 series leather shoes used to be good quality shoes but not anymore. The last 3 pairs I purchased all wore out prematurely in the same areas. The stitching around the front toes always comes apart way before the soles are worn. I won't be buying them anymore.
