Not very comfortable in the soles of the feet. ..

I intend to wear these black shoes to work. They are tighter than my previous pair (same item #). Hope I can stretch them enough to make them comfortable for all day wear.

1. Upper leather of the sneaker is great 2. There wasn't enough padding in the sole of the sneaker. 3. Ran a little big.

My shoe size is 9 1/2 E. the coice of 2E was too wide and the next available was standard or regular which is too narrow.

I have been wearing these for many many years & was very satisfied until the last ones. We saw black marks on our hardwood & bath room floors. When I stopped wearing them the black streaks stopped. Quality control?

I have been wearing a version of this sneaker for 20 years and always bought 81/2 D (med) and they have fit great. The last two pairs I purchased seem to be too short compared to the old 8 1/2Ds. Not sure If there is quality problem with manufacturing. The label on all pairs say they were made in Indonesia, but the newer pairs don't fit the same. I never really experienced "break in" issues with these sneaker in the past, with respect to sizing. When new, the sneakers are a bit stiff, but comfortable. The two newer pairs rub on my toes and are tight across the top of my foot. I lace my sneaker the same way, but something is different. I will "order up" 1/2 a size next time and try a 9 D. Maybe my feet are getting bigger with age, but my dress shoe size hasn't changed. I still think New Balance are great shoes, if the fit is correct.

I have worn New Balance shoes for over 20 years and have always been thankful for their quality and durability. 608's have been my go to all around exercising and casual shoe for at least 10 years. I must say I am disappointed in the new sole construction and before that it's comfort. The heals on both shoes have come debonded after only 4 months of use. This has never happened before going to the non slip sole. From the beginning with this new sole I was not happy with the way it felt while exercising.

I love New Balance, and I do like the bungee laces. This shoe is too short and not narrow enough. I hate that New Balance only has AA/Narrow widths that are not very narrow at all. This shoe was tauted to be very supportive, but it isn't nearly as structured as other models I usually buy. Not happy with this shoe, but having worn it, I cannot return it.

Nothing wrong with the shoes but I've worn Brooks for years and like them better.

I would try a different style. the shoe seems snug.

There is no support for my arch. I had to buy a Dr. Scholls arch support to use. I just bought a pair of 624 and I love them. I tried to order another pair and they were out of my size...7N. Really disappointed in the 608v5.

Walking on hard surfaces such as walkways, stores and on carpet

one shoe is not wide enough. I wish the shoe came in xtra wide

Plenty of cushion in the heel. Could have moved some of that cushioning to the ball of the foot. Very stiff, feels more like a boot than a shoe. Not necessarily a bad thing but not what I expected. I wear these at work. On my feet quite a bit. My feet are OK at the end of the day. I bought these online with Trump money since the stores were closed. For ten more bucks you can have adidas superstars. I never would have bought these in a store after trying them on.

I had this style for years and it was fine but these are too short! I should have ordered a half size larger so now I have shoes I will probably not wear very much!

I received this pair of shoes before it showed they shipped, that is OK.

I have been a big fan of the model 608's for a number of years until this current version 5 was introduced. The toe box is way too narrow forcing you move up to a much larger size to compensate for this design change/flaw. I still have a pair of the 608v4 that I wear around the yard and these fit so nicely compared to the newer v5's which I've had to size up 1 1/2 sizes and they still don't match my old v4's. Be wary when purchasing these 608v5's

Fit is Ok. Ink of Printed label inside wears off and stains socks.

The last 2 pair of shoes I've purchased from New Balance have "run small" to the point they are uncomfortable to wear, so they've both gone to Goodwill.

I have been buying these for many years, the most recent pair that I bought seems to have less support in the arch, and is hurting my foot. I would return them If i could, but I bought them and didn't wear them for 2 months, so I am past the return period. I guess I will try some inserts, or see if they get better as they break in.

Cannot really comment - shoes did not fit, and I'm still waiting for a refund! Shoes were received by them on April 23rd
