I'm replacing a 646 pair I've worn for years. Was looking for a cross trainer for all day standing on concrete. The padding in these is cheaper and the leather upper is too. No reflective "N" or strips on the upper either. They're the best I could find at NB to suit me but not thrilled.

Overall, I'm pretty happy about the quality and fit of this shoe. They were somewhat uncomfortable around my shin for the first few wears, but after being broken in, they're as snug and cushy as one could hope.

Typical NB shoe. Extremely comfortable with great fit. Half size selection like no other manufacturer. Only thing that keeps this from being a five start review was fact that I bought several colors of same style shoe online, all in same size, and found one pair that was almost a half inch shorter than the other (again, same shoe, same size).

I've been wearing New Balance 608 for a few years now. I am practically living in them since I had a stroke and ankle surgery. I can't wear just any sneaker and these seem to be the best for me and they are podiatrist recommended.

This is an excellent product. However, New Balance offers 2E which is extra wide an 4E which is extra extra wide. LL Bean uses the term "extra wide" not offering a choice between 2E and 4E. They sent me 2E, I needed 4E. Apparently LL Bean does not offer 4E. Their return policy went fine . I will continue to order other merchandise from LL Bean in the future.

For extra wide shoe it feels a little tight at the balls of the toes.

Shoes fit well and are comfortable Will buy again!

The shoe bottom is a little too thin. I miss the 800 series cross trainers. Fit is good.

Just sterted wearing wish the air vent holes were a little larger as they are so small there really do nothing wish they would bring back the 519 . was one of nb best shoes

The look of the shoe is very nice. I wish there was more arch support.

Very comfortable. Not for dress but very nice looking

She wears them on a daily basis and live how comfortable they are.

I wear these shoes when it's raining or if the surface I walk on is wet. They keep my feet dry.

Not my favorite pair. They are comfy but they start to hurt my feet when I'm working my 8 hour shifts. I wish they had just a little more support.

I really wanted these shoes. I ordered the size that I normally would based on other NB online purchases but when I tried them on, they were too short. I ordered Size 11 but it wasn't accurate. I was so disappointed as I thought these shoes looked great. I believed that if I had ordered the next available size, it would be too big.

Love the design of 608v5. No "breaking in" period!

They are very comfortable. I need shoes that are comfortable since I wear them for 14 hours a day.

Yep, shoes are fine, but, what i'm most pleased about is the packaging, no plastic to deal with. It's all paper and cardboard. Way to go!

Maybe a little wide, It's hard to tell what to get without trying on.

I use these new shoes for cross training, light weight work and sometimes for casual wear. They are fine for all of this. My old shoes were a model 847v3 (discontinued) and they were great. I have a AA foot and the old shoes gave me better lateral support. I wish the 608v5 came in AA. I am a long time New Balance wearer and will continue to be. Thanks
