THESE ARE THE EVERYDAY WORK SHOE. JUST WHAT HE NEEDED PLUS THE SAME STYLE/MODEL# IS WHY HE KEEPS BUYING, THIS WOULD BE HIS FOURTH PAIR LASTING ABOUT 6+ MONTHS A YEAR.

Got these for my Dad who is almost 95 and wears a 13 EEEE. He loves them, says they are the most comfortable shoes he’s ever had. He has 2 pairs, one in black and one in white, and despite the other shoes in his closet, only wears these.

This is my 3rd pair! Love them. When they get to beat up for normal wear, they will last another couple of years doing yard work! Wear them for all summer activities, walking 1.5 miles every day, etc. Everyday summer use!

I am a group fitness instructor, teaching primarily dancing aerobics. I have worn this shoe for several years. It is very supportive and lasts a long time. I have a wide foot, so this shoe fits me very well.

I wear my sneakers every day for hours on end. I love the new balance 608v5 as they really don't have a break in period. I normally need new sneakers every 4 months due to plantar factitus (sp)

Late reviewing because ordered for a friend and waited for their feedback. They were very happy with the shoes and I was very happy with the next day delivery. One little thing with ordering for people without a smart phone or computer: There is nothing in the box for me to show my friend how much I paid so he can reimburse me. I have to print out the form which does not feature the price I paid very prominently.

I have been wearing these for many many years & was very satisfied until the last ones. We saw black marks on our hardwood & bath room floors. When I stopped wearing them the black streaks stopped. Quality control?

I love the 608 for fit and comfort. The only thing that keeps this from being 5 stars is the lack of colors available in suede. In the past, I have purchased suedes in black, blue, and gray. I miss them.

Overweight, flat feet, & fallen arches accompanied with some pinched nerves in my back make finding a comfortable shoe difficult. I have yet to find a competing brand that fits my foot the way that New Balance does. I have been a customer for many years now and I ALWAYS come back.
