My kid was thrilled to have truly wide shoes. He busted the seam on the toe after a few weeks of wearing to school.

The shoes are fine. I just bought them too narrow. Should have thought about my bunions

I use the shoes for everyday and they do pretty good , but if I go for long walks there not as comfortable as my old New Balance. Not sure if they are still breaking in or not as much arch support.

They make my big toes hurt, but it may be a size issue. The NB outlet store would not measure my feet, which are changing, due to covid19. I traded in my usual size 13 for size 14, but they still hurt, so I will be returning them, again, a 50 mile round trip.

I bought a narrow size but they where to wide & I'm Sorry sending them back. Thank you

I'm been buying New Balance for years and really like them but this pair is really bad. Got them a few days before vacation. Around the house they felt stiff. Well I thought it was going to loosen up while on vacation. My feet where killing me walking around the places we stopped at couldn't wait to get back and take these shows off. I've worn the same size for years and that's what I ordered.

I'm afraid this is the first pair of NB that I can't wear-- the shoe is incredibly hard-- the sole is hard. I should have bought a different pair-- indeed, I should have bought it in a NB store which we have here in NAples, FL. Sorry-- ordinarily NB is perfect for me.

The insole is terrible with this shoe The shoe is decent but I thought I was buying an American made shoe

I always get NB 608 & they are comfortable. I put these on & they hurt right away. I keep trying to break them in but they are stiff & hurt.

These didn't last that long support wise. Seems like material "softened up" rather quickly. Not matter how tight I pull the laces, the shoe feels loose. Have to retir them several times during the day to feel supportive.

New Balance has redesigned this leather shoe since I first started buying it when the shoe was the "608 V4", Now, it is less comfortable, does not hold up as well, runs half a size smaller, and is generally less satisfactory. I buy it because it is leather instead of fabric, but I am disappointed by the changes in quality and am searching for another leather shoe which might be better.

These Sneakers are just ok and nothing special. You can still feel the inside rubber through the very thin padding inside the sneaker.

I recently purchased a Training sneaker, #608, because #857 is not available. I'm returning the new sneaker because the degree of support does not compare to the #857.

If the inner soul had more cushion It would raise the comfort level also if you were to add air bags on the bottom of the sneaker it would help to absorb some of the shock

the inside of the shoe under the tongue is really rough construction -- almost painful

Purchased NB 9 wide in a different style last year, made in the USA, and they fit great and are very comfortable. I was looking for a leather athletic shoe for the winter months. Ordered the 9 wide in this style and the length was fine, but the toe area really isn't wide, not even close. Very disappointed and sent them back. Seems there is no consistency in the NB shoes. Compared the 2 different styles and there is a big difference in width. Wide should be wide!
