I have worn these sneakers for many years. I never got a pair with defects in them like this pair. I returned them to a local store, and it remains to be seen if I will buy another pair. I lost the customer coupon I had in this sale/return, and I was unable to get it back for a future use!

I have increased my walking miles and needed a good shoe. I always turn to New Balance. I was hoping to find some with a wider base but these 's 608's are working out just fine. New Balance does not disappoint.

Comfy out of the box. Fits true to size. There are probably cooler styles but these white sneakers are perfect for a middle age mom like me.

The fit is snug. I've got a big foot (women) and getting Zappo's New Balance 928 (9 1/2 D) for years. My usual sneaker went up in price drastically so I decided to give a different model a try. All l can say for it is that it is a snug fit and doesn't seem to "cradle" my foot like my other NB928D . I've been wearing it, but not looking forward to putting it on.
I'd also recommend:
New Balance is the only brand I wear!

New Balance is not the best, most comfortable or most durable shoe around, but it's the only one I can find sold in honest widths. I have a wide foot and, as a result, have worn nothing but New Balance for years. They are OK.

I live in these sneakers. I like the comfort of the cut-a-way sole of the 608 of yesterday. The new 608's have a flat sole that does not walk the same, bend the same or seemingly have as much lateral support. I have tried the 624's that have the sole of the old 608's but they are a different fit altogether with a longer toe box that trips me up.

After having a bad experience with Asics, I turned back to New Balance to get my shoes, so I got my hands on a pair of these at a cheap sports shop on Yonge and Steeles in Size 11.5 2E. It fits me very well and isn't too hard on the ankles. Nothing too special, but it's a very good budget shoe for general use. I hope my next shoe buying experience is just as good as the one I had recently with this shoe.

3rd pair of 608, wore them when I worked in a dental clinic, really haven’t been able to find a show that works for me as much as these. Now that white shoes are the rage, except for the blue N I will feel trendy and be comfortable. I wear a 12 wide as I prefer a wider toe box which these provide. I have a medium foot but then the toe box is tighter, I just lace them up a wee bit tighter. Great support for my arches!
