I love NB … my favorite model has been, of course, discontinued, so I figured I would try this one. Had I tried them on in an actual store, I would have skipped them. Firstly, they’re heavy. For my foot, no arch support (added expense of additional inserts) and they are so stiff it feels like walking on cinder blocks. To others, these may be the Holy Grail you’re looking for. Unfortunately, I have to continue my quest.

New Balance shoes fit me very well, and I like that Zappos always has a good selection available in my size.

These sneakers are perfect for me.

These fit fine except I felt I needed a little more width, but they don't come in XW.

I got these in the wide width fit. Originally they were supposed to be only my work shoes, but I found myself reaching for these shoes so much because of how comfortable they feel they turned into my everyday shoe. They are also super easy to wipe off if they get dirty. Truly a great purchase and they are still holding up almost 2 years later!

The size and fit of these New Balance were right on. They feel terrific on and have the support this flat-footed person needs. They are stylish and with their new bright shoelaces look terrific.

For those of you, like me, who have truly have narrow width feet, these are not the shoes for you. Unfortunate because they are nice quality shoes but they are definitely wider than a narrow fitting shoe should be. However the biggest issue for me was the depth of the toe box. It is at least 1/2 to 3/4 inches deeper than would be comfortable. As a result all the leather bunches up when you walk. Althought it was hard to tell because of the wideness of the shoe, and my foot was slipping forward in it, it also didn’t feel true to size as my toe was pretty much hitting the end of the shoe.

My toe was hitting and my heel was slipping. It’s made of faux leather so I didn’t think it would strech due to not being real leather. The sneaker looks nice. I have a wide foot and even though this was an 8.5 wide I felt it was small for my foot so I am returning it.

Runs short.

Not as comfy as New Balance normally has been.
