I normally in the past have purchased the 624 NB shoe for use in my aerobic dance class. However the 624 style was not available for some reason. I hope it is brought back soon. I purchased instead the NB 608 and it is very good walking shoe as well as in my Jazzercise dance aerobic classes. Very good for side to side movements.

This shoe gives good foot support for general workouts and walking. I wear orthotics so ordered 1 full size bigger. The toe area is on the narrow side.

I have had a problem with New Balance Cross Trainers with the sole of the shoe separating from the rest of the bottom. I have to use Super Glue every time to correct this issue. Hopefully, you are aware of this issue from other customers.

I became a New Balance fan years ago when I was running Marathons. I tried other shoes and always came back to New Balance. My marathon days are over but I play a lot of tennis and use the gym regularly. My latest 608s are amazingly comfortable. I swear I'm never going to buy another sports shoe than New Balance.

It's so wonderful to be able to put my extra wide foot into this shoe with the wide opening. I just wish they had more padding. Overall a very nice shoe.

Size and width are fine. I have high arches and there is no arch support. The inserts for NB sneakers cost about as much as the sneakers do! I'm just going to get Dr. Scholl's.
I'd also recommend:
I loved Etonic brand. They had excellent arch support, but you can only get golf shoes now!

Love the narrow size. Been wearing this shoe for30 or more years. Put them on and wear right away, no breaking them in.

I've worn New Balance 608s for 10 years or more. I've tried other athletic shoes, but they don't fit as well, aren't as comfortable, and aren't as versatile. 608s are described as "trainers." I used to jog and walk in them. Now I just walk.... 5-10 miles a day, and my feet feel great even at the end of the walk. Wish the women's 608 shoes came in more colors than solid black, white with baby blue, and white with salmon pink. I'd like a classic white leather shoe or white with navy blue.
I'd also recommend:
Birkenstock, Dansko.

I really like the looks and like the black shoelaces, instead of white like most athletic shoes! They do seem a little shorter than my other New Balance athletic shoes!

After actually wearing the shoes during an activity I found that they don't conform to my feet very well. Too wide even though I bought the same size as my old new balance shoes. Feel clunky

Purchased these shoes after my prior New Balance shoes experienced sole separation. New Balance Customer Service was very helpful in arranging a partial reimbursement that I used to purchase this pair. The new pair is performing well with no sign of a problem but it has only been a few weeks. They fit well and appear well made and are very comfortable.

These shoes are super comfy - great "mom" shoes. But size down at least 1/2 size. I typically wear 8, and had to exchange for 7-1/2, still some room, 7 might have worked too. Otherwise, love them!

First, I want to comment on how fast the delivery on my new shoes. It was fast, two days! I ordered 4E wides they seemed a little tight. I have to go with a wider size with this type of shoe next time. All in all good quality for the price.
