They are my Planet Fitness trainers and some time walk the dog shoes. They are actually made from, are you sitting down? from LEATHER! Seriously, they actually fit and do not stretch and need retied during workouts. The leather allows my feet and me to feel secure.

I like the shoe as I have 2 pair just like them. The first pair I bought were nice until the soles turned yellow. Second pair and this pair are comfortable. The most comfortable shoe I have ever worn were the 411 Cush. Bought 3 pairs (I work on my feet and have foot and ankle issues) and I never felt the pain in my foot like I do with all the others. Why were they discontinued?

I've worn New Balance sneakers for a lot of years. The last two models I bought fit well but were discontinued when I went to buy a new pair. This is the new model I settled on. It's a little smaller than the last model so my right toes rub a little. Other than that they seem fine. The only other complaint is that the shoelaces are way too long. I had to cut them and buy new heat shrink ends to seal up the cuts. Otherwise they drag on the ground and get caught all the time.

Daily workouts on treadmill, leg machine and other exercises. Just a bit tight in the front.

I have trouble finding good sneakers in a wide width. New Balance has a good variety, which I appreciate a lot. Saw these and gave them a try. Very nice coverage... kind of a warm sneaker... good for walking in the colder weather. Been wearing them for a week now and now that they are broken in a bit, I'm liking them even more. I think they would be a little hot for summer, as they don't seem to breathe much. I noticed my feet were a bit hot in them indoors. Perfect find for Fall, Winter and Spring though. Very nice and stable sole/footbed for walking, which I do a lot of. Would buy again and would recommend for anyone who walks a lot. Good looking too!

Quality, fit and price

I have an issue with a bunion on my left foot and an ankle problem with my right ankle. As a result I had lots of problems finding sneakers that I could wear that were comfortable and supportive. I have been using New Balance sheakers for several years, and found that this brand not only was comfortable but allowed me to continue to exercise without a problem. I can even wear an ankle brace without discomfort and wouldn't purchase any other brand. They are a life-saver for me, and I am more than 83 years old, and have been exercising regularly since the 1960s.

I've been buying these for a few years, they are comfortable and durable. The soles out last the inner liner but still they are my favorite shoe.

Shoe looks great,but even though designated model 608,shoe length longer and fit is different than original 608 model.

Beautiful leather and they slip right on. Go up 1/2 size. Got the BLUE N AND JUST ORDERED THE PINK N. NOT HEAVY. Wear everyday. None can compare to NEW BALANCE.

Love these sneakers! Been wearing these sneakers for years. They wear well,are comfortable & are great for walking. I wear mine everyday, all day!!

Fit remains true to original "last" shape

Quick delivery, I like the shorter laces. The last 2 pairs I bought I had to double tie them because the laces were too long. This time they are better

The shoes are really nice for walking and every day use. I am glad they had a extra wide size.

I have been wearing New Balance shoes for many years for walking and coaching. Now I have several pairs that I rotate and wear daily.

I have purchased this product many times, and now repurchased. The last pair started to fall apart so I purchased a new pair earlier than expected. The black bottom layer separated from the sole and kept getting worse. Ifd the same issue occurs with the new pair I will need to consider a different approach.
