These are really cute and comfortable ankle boots. They have a nice low scoop around the ankle so they don't rub your ankle bones. I had to size up a half size from my usual 7.5 and order them in size 8. Perfect fit.

I bought these because I needed black booties and I LOVE my Sam Edelman Packer booties so much I thought I would try these. The Packer booties have a zipper on each side, which is not only a stylish detail, it is also helpful when wearing extra thick socks. These Macons, however, only have the zipper on one side so they are a bit tighter around the ankle. They are also a bit taller in the heel. Overall, nice shoes and fit my needs so they are keepers.

Love the color and feel of these booties. They were a bit snug and fit best with a thinner sock, but did break in some. Versatile style goes well with jeans or dresses/skirts with tights. Heel height isn’t too tall, just enough without making walking a trial. Not sure how these would be walking around the city all day, but fine for work.

Super cute! I am a size 10 normally in booties, including Sam Edelman, but the 10.5 get perfect. Order a 1/2 size up!

They fit well but soles were hard and that made them uncomfortable to me. If the soles had had any cushion to them at all, I would have kept them.

Love the look and heel height. Perfect to wear with skinny jeans without having to roll them. Felt a bit narrow but may stretch a bit.

I really wanted this shoe! The style is great and the black suede looks really nice. I ordered the same size I always wear, 9-1/2 M and they were too narrow. Called Zappos and they suggested I try a wide. The wide fit in one shoe, but not the other. I think there may have been a defect, but I cannot keep buying and returning shoes to find out. Zappos was great and sent the 2nd pair within a day to see if they would work. Unfortunately, I am sad I have to return these. I haven't worn Sam Edelman shoes before and ordered several pair. They all look very stylish, but the quality/comfort is just not as good at BOC, Born, Clarks, etc.

I actually love these boots but we’re quite snug on my 8 medium foot. I’m returning for 1/2 size larger. Well made!

Loved the look of the shoe. The heel was a good size but they were so uncomfortable. I felt so much pressure on the ball of my foot. I knew these would not work so I returned them. They get five stars for style but a one for comfort.

The front of this shoe was entirely too small. Not sure why. I ordered the Sam Edelman Morris shoe in the same size, 9.5, and that shoe fit perfect.

I ordered the Golden Caramel and it was a pretty boot but the color was a little too light for me. Also I did not like how it was somewhat slouchy in the front. I would have preferred it not slouchy, that was my biggest issue. I am returning them, but they fit was great and the heel height was perfect.

I loved the style of this boot, including the distressed finish. However, the size 8 I usually wear was too small, so I returned and ordered a half size bigger, but it was too loose. Unfortunately, I had to return the second pair and order a different brand and style.

I am so disappointed with these boots. They are tighter than anticipated and the zipper is lousy.

Loved the style and color of this boot (red). Thought it would be perfect with winter outfits. But it really seemed too small for my feet. I'm an 8.5W and I could barely get them on...and they were very tight. Reluctantly, they were returned. Zappos made it so easy and I had my refund within days. Love Zappos and will continue to search for the perfect shoe!

Boots are narrow. Even though they come in wide width they were still narrow. I wear an 8.5C. I never have problems wearing a shoe that is designated as wide. But I could barely get my foot into this boot. And they were very worn, some of the suede was rubbed off, which is not a style I care for.
