Utility and style rarely coincide in women’s wear but these boots nailed it. The leather is thick and the quality is evident by looking at them. I am almost always size 8 (Frye) or 8.5 (Teva). I sized up to a 9.5 based on the reviews and they were too big. I ordered the 9 and they still felt a bit wiggly (there is little length difference between 9 and 9.5 per the size chart), but kept them because the 8.5 was short. The heel is a perfect height to elevate the look but remain comfortable. These boots merge function and fashion, and I expect to wear them for years.

New favorite boots. I’m a U.S. size 6 (European 36 for Dansko and Birkenstocks) and the US size 6 fit perfectly. Getting the boots on and off is a sit down, two hands task. I don’t mind and if they stretch out a little at the ankle it would be great but not necessary. Able to wear right away with no rubbing or breaking in. I’ve worn with lightweight and medium weight socks. If if you need something thicker sizing up may be necessary. This is my first pair from this brand. I wanted comfort, high quality, durability and a slightly fancier boot that could be dressed up or down.

Ordered a half size up, felt a little clunky at first but they are now my go to pair. So comfortable and they pair with almost any outfit.

I bought a size 8 based on the reviews and I so glad that I did!! I wore thick socks to break them in and I would say within a few days they were fine! They wore in quicker then the 585 I bought at the same time! Definitely worth it and great boots that look good dressed up or down!!

I'm a true 7.5 in shoes & boots but I went for a US 8 after reading reviews. It's perfect! I love the small ankle opening and the boots are beautiful and comfortable right out of the box. I can only imagine they'll get better as they get worn in. A tad hard to get off but nothing crazy. The heel loop helps with that. The heel height is perfect as well. Nice enough for going out but also casual and comfortable enough for every day. Pricey but worth it if they hold up nicely for a long time. So happy I tried these!

I don't have a car and I walk everywhere; but I also am a pretty sharp dresser, and finding nice looking shoes that don't wear out after the first mile is a real challenge. I had just given in to needing to throw my shoes out every couple months, but with Coronavirus shutdowns making shopping more difficult, I found I needed to aim for some shoes that would last. After some research, I landed on these as a recommended walking shoe that isn't too athletic looking. My bare foot is usually around a size 7, and knowing I'd want to wear socks with these I purchased a 7.5, which came out perfect. I was a bit dismayed by the appearance of the shoes (kind of a Frankenstein look about them -- not very pretty) but they were insanely comfortable and reputed very sturdy. Some of the other reviews complained about difficulty getting their foot in, asking if there were shoehorns to help, etc. I didn't have any trouble -- the two cloth tabs on the ankle are there to help you pull the shoe open and yank it on. The resulting tight fit helps prevent rocks and debris from getting into your shoe. Anyway, I am hoping these will last a long time -- I figure even at around $200 a pair, if the Blundstones last 3 or 4 times longer than other shoes, it will be about the same cost to me. They're definitely comfortable, in fact I was amazed that they didn't even need breaking in, they were just ready to wear with no rubbing or slipping.

These Blundstone stones are great, much more feminine that my old work boot styled ones, more stylish, but still very sturdy. Comfortable right away. The ankles are nicely narrow; I had no trouble getting them on with the 2 tabs.

These look and wear great but definitely fit narrower than I expected. They're comfortable enough but were I ordering again I'd go a half size up.

LOVE these shoes. I'll start by saying that. I've been eyeing Blundstones and a great alternative way to be wearing a boot with a fancier vibe/heel in the winter. Absolutely in love. However, thank goodness for the other ladies who reviewed because I usually wear a 6 and ordered a 7 based on their advice, and am SO glad I did. The 6 might have fit (would have been tight for sure), but there would have been NO way I would have been able to wear these comfortably with thicker socks in the winter had I not ordered a full size up. Love love love the look and feel of these already though, and it makes me want to buy the other pairs without heels that I was interested in! It also feels like these won't be painful to wear walking around NYC. Whereas I love Dr. Martens, but they tend to be hit or miss on the pain front. Worth the price for sure.

Love these boots! Read the reviews and sized up a half size, they fit perfectly with socks. The heel definitely makes them feel fancier which I like but they're so comfortable right out of the box. Worth the investment for sure!

These boots are great. I wore them to an all-day event (standing on my feet for 10 hours) literally the day after they arrived—they’re perfectly comfortable out of the box. I had no trouble getting them on and off, and I have wide feet. One thing to note: there is no way you can tuck your pants into these. It’s wear cropped pants or pants go over the top of the boot.

I’m loving my new booties! I have a very high instep but these at super easy to get on because of the little hooks of fabric on the front and back. They took no time to break in. I can dress them up or down. Just an all around well made bootie!

Love these boots but hoping they stretch just a wee bit wider. Ordered half a size up which is perfect. They're a bit squeeky but otherwise comfortable enough and look fantastic.

I feel I owe it to Zappos to write this review. They patiently let me order and return probably 10 or more pairs of practically identical black boots. I was on the search for the perfect travel boot to pack more efficiently. I wanted something that could be worn out hiking, walking in cities, rain or shine, and could be paired with something dressier. I found all of this in these boots. I’m normally not willing to spend this much, but for the versatility and the fact that they are the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn, it’s worth it. Full transparency, I have a pretty unfortunate bunion, so no shoe will ever be comfortable but for my fellow bunion-havers this is as close as I’ve come without sacrificing appearance. On the first day I wore them, they made me realize I had probably a years’ old knot in my foot, because the shoe actually seemed to be kneading and healing it as I walked. Additionally, they don’t need any breaking in. However, I do have two cons to warn of: 1. Sizing is totally inconsistent, not just from style to style but within the style. I’m usually a 9. For example, I’m an 8 in the Blundstone dress shoe style. I am definitely not an 8 in these, I’m a 9. I tried the 9.5, because I figured I could use a little extra space but when they arrived they were as small or smaller than the size 8. I ordered 9.5 from a different vendor, and they were about the same size as the 9 and since I couldn’t really determine a difference in the two I kept my order with Zappos(because they’d probably come after me if I didn’t buy the pair from them, after all the shoes I just tried on). 2. They’re not slip-resistant which is true and dumb. I don’t understand the reasoning behind removing this feature when all other Blundstone’s have it. It wouldn’t have affected the aesthetic much. Already, you can’t truly wear them in a professional or actually dressy setting. (They can be worn with dressier items, but I wouldn’t wear them to like a bridal shower or something.. probably a bad example.) I specifically planned to wear these in muddier settings, so I’m a little nervous how that will turn out and if I’ll end up on my butt at some point. I hope they one day decide to add this feature but just not until I’m ready to reorder.

I'm thrilled with this shoe- it's all the comfort go-anywhere ruggedness of the classic Blundstone in a more feminine shape with a little boost. Extremely comfortable and attractive. Very well made. I can tell that this will be my favorite shoe for the next couple winters.
