My son has wide feet. We got the black with yellow laces and they look great. Once they are on his feet they fit well. But, getting them on is a struggle! The tongue is connected to the shoe. My son has a really hard time getting them on. No chance they will come off his feet during a game so that is the up side to the struggle.

The shoe looked great... BUT the tongue is attached to the shoe .... so my son could not slip his foot in.

My 7year old son has wide feet and these are the only shoes that have actually fit! We have tried them all!

Perfect for my seven year old. He has wide feet and these do the trick!

I should have listened to the other reviews. If your child has wide feet, this new attached tongue design makes it impossible to put the cleats on.

After my experience last baseball season having to wrangle my son into his cleats before each game I decided I would get a wide cleat so he could put them on himself. I love the way these cleats look, however the styling is a big miss for kids with thick feet. He could NOT get them on his foot and I couldn't squeeze him into them! The tongue of the shoe is connected, so there is no opening it up to make it wider to assist in getting it on. I do love the way they look, but these are going to have to go back.

I bought these for my son for baseball. They were so extremely tight. There is no tongue to pull and move around, so it's very difficult to get his foot in. I needed a shoe horn. He could barely walk around in these. If you order them, definitely size up. I am returning them because they were way too tight for him. Not sure how practical they are for a child with a wide foot.

Great shoe. Like is the trend these days, the inner shoe is a neoprene sock style. A small fight to get them on, but the kid has finally learned the method and it's simple for him now.

These fit great and my son was super comfortable rounding the bases in them. Zero issues. He loved the design too.

Kid loves them. Have been problem free all season. Snug fit as liner of shoe is a neoprene sock. Laces stay tied. Would buy again.

Fit our little guy's feet really well. I especially like the padded support in the back of the shoe.

The MOST comfortable pair of cleats we have ever owned. They look and feel like a regular tennis shoe. No stiffness like we've experienced with so many other brands over the years. Fit true to size.

we love the cleats. Perfect fit for my son. We use a $2.00 shoe horn to slip them on, it works like a charm every single time.

Great shoe! The only reason I did not give it a 5 was because the opening of the show needs to be bigger. I got these cleats because my son could not fit into other cleats he has a very wide foot. It would make since that if you are purchasing a wide width shoe the opening should accommodate a wide foot. My son loves them and they look great!!!

This cleat has an attached sock-like tongue, which my son said made it feel tight across the top of the foot. The color and style are awesome.

Both my children need wide sneakers. We purchased a different New Balance wide cleat in last year. This year we thought these looked great, so we ordered as normal getting a wide. These cleats weren't as wide as our other pair of wides in a different style. Unfortunately we had to return these and get the other New Balance cleats we've gotten in the past.

My child could NOT wear them- it is nothing like the fit of the other NB cleats which fit my son perfectly. I actually made same mistake last year - this style says wide on the box but not on the sneaker ( i checked last years and was the same) if your child truelly needs wide skip this one- its a beautiful sneaker but not for wide feet!

Too difficult to get on

The design of the shoe makes it very difficult to put on, especially with shin guards which can be bulky. The shoe is all 1 piece - the tongue does not come out. Really wished I would have realized that feature did not exist before we purchased. Returning because I do not want to fight this with my child each time he's getting ready for soccer practice/game.

A Hard No!! My 6 year old does not like these shoes. They are very hard to get on and off.

While the shoe may be wide width, the design of the tongue being attached to the shoe did not give an opening wide enough for my son to actually get his foot into the shoe. I would not recommend this shoe if your child's feet are truly wide or near extra wide.

These were so small because the tongue doesn't move. My son couldn't get his foot in the shoes. Returned. Very disappointed with New Balance since my son has wide feet he only wears New Balance shoes.

We ordered the wide, unfortunately the tongue of the shoe is connected to the shoe, similar to a sock like feature. This made it incredibly hard for my son, to get his wide foot into. We are exchanging for a larger size, hoping this may help::: but, I am thinking it may just be the feature of the shoe??
