Unfortunately, I didn't read the reviews before buying this shoe. My son's foot is a little wider, but normally we can size up, and they work just fine. I tried both sizing up and the wide width and he couldn't come close to getting this shoe on. Very unfortunate because he loved the shoe!

My 6yr old son has wide feet (toe box area). As others mentioned, it was difficult to put the shoes on with the attached tongue. Because of this, you cannot adjust the width of lace area. There is no "give" like most shoes. My son immediately said they hurt his feet. I put my hand inside the shoe and it felt really tight compared to his other brand Wide tennis shoes. We ended up buying another brand that was labeled "wide" and they fit much better. Would not recommend for kids with wide feet in the toe box area.

Due to the design, my son could not get these shoes on.

This is not a wide width shoe. Very disappointed. Now have to figure out the return process.

These are almost impossible to put on because of the way the tongue is connected to the shoe. Terrible design.

My kid can barely get these on his foot. The "integrated" sock-type liner doesn't really allow any stretching. I had to make cuts on each side and it didn't even really help. Need to buy something else that he can actually get on without a struggle.
