I followed recommendations and got a size 9 (Euro 40.5) when I usually wear an 8.5. The 9 is definitely the best size. The leather is soft and comfortable right out of the box and the overall style of the boot is very attractive. It is a tad more casual looking than I had hoped, but it's still a very nice shoe. It's a little tight in the toe box area, but I think that it will stretch with just a little wearing and breaking in and will be just fine.

So far I really like these boots. I initially ordered them in medium width; though they were quite comfortable for me, I thought that because I have a bunion on one foot, they might be more comfortable in wide. I exchanged them (incredibly smooth process) and because of the extra width they are indeed more comfortable. I think that these are an especially good choice for people with an issue such as a bunion, as the ties can customize the fit for each foot. Except for my bunion, my foot is medium, but these boots are relatively narrow in the toe and the wider size helps. The support feels good for my picky feet, and I like the style!

I first bought these boots in the Cafe Oleoso color- I needed a pair of medium-brown ankle boots with low heel. These are perfect!! They are so comfortable, no break0in needed at all! The leather is like butter!! I also love that they have laces AND a zipper - you can lace them up to fit exactly right, then use the zipper to take them off & on, & not have to re-lace them every time! The only very minor thing, is that the laces are a bit too long, so I have to double-tie them, & they would not stay tied until I did this. But, the boots themselves are so fab, I bought them in black, too!

Holy cow. These are fabulous boots! Buttery soft leather, light weight and comfortable. The brown is a lovely shade and looks like the photo. I wear a 8 1/2 in sandals & flats and a 9 in boots. Perfect fit. Buy them.

Lovely soft leather and made my large feet look smaller. Unfortunately despite having comfort in the name and a cushioned foot bed the shoe doesn’t have any arch support and could use more cushioning. Still- its a great walking shoe

Very comfortable boots. I usually wear 7.5M, but ordered the wide width after reading reviews and I’m glad I did. My heels move a bit, but because I can adjust the laces to tighten them, I don’t think they will be a problem. They feel great right out of the box, but I’ll update my review if any problems develop.

I sent it back and ordered another because the right boot felt as if the padding had been squashed down - and I was right. The replacement boots are perfect. These run a tiny bit smaller in width than a true wide, but are wider than a medium. The style is great, the leather is soft.

These boots are gorgeous and comfy! The leather is buttery soft, and I want to wear them every day. So comfortable! I get lots of compliments on them as well. I’d never heard of this brand, but wow these boots are perfect.

I bought the brown loved them so much bought the black. Best boots ever! First day out 14 hours hitting the street of Manhattan... can not say more than that.

First of all, ordered Thursday and received bright and early Friday. Soft, comfy, broken in looking leather style. Can't wait to wear them, better than expected.

The leather on these boots are a beautiful quality and super soft. I wear a size 8 normally and bought these in an 8. They feel true to size. I've only worn them once and after 9 hours, I felt I would have been better off with a thinner sock–at least until they break in a bit. Overall, I'm very happy with these and I know they'll be an everyday boot for me this Fall. They look great with skinny jeans.

Beautiful shoes! Slightly narrow, as other reviewers have stated, but I went a half size up and loosened the laces a little. They are soft enough to break in quickly, but sturdy enough to provide a lot of ankle support. And they are very, very handsome.

These are very comfortable, lightweight, and stylish. They look so dainty and feminine, as a boot, even for me they're just very slim and minimal without feeling narrow on my foot which is a size 10 and somewhat wide. I ordered my true to size fit.

These are the MOST comfortable boots that I have ever worn...right out of the box!!!

Love, love love these! Glove soft leather. Easy to put on with the side zipper. I wear a 9W and ordered a 9W. I found the heal to be a bit wide for me but, with heavier socks, was perfect. These will be some of my favorites for years to come I'm sure. I do wear an orthotic arch support insert but had no trouble fitting them into this boot even without having to remove the insole. Very very comfortable!

This boot Is beautiful! The leather feels like fine glove leather, it’s so buttery and soft. This gives it a dressier feel. There’s ample padding inside, an unusual boot feature in my experience. It seems like it would be comfier than typical boots. Much to my dismay the wide is on the narrow side so I had to return them. Sigh. I recommend them if your foot is not wide.

This is a comfortable boot. The laces help with customizing the fit. My feet are Wide maybe even DBL wide. This is an out of the box review. I haven't worn them out. I'm going to order the next size up to see what is best for my left very fussy foot.

I ordered this in 9 1/2 W even though I normally wear 9 1/2 M. I was thinking I’d better order up to wide so I could wear socks in colder weather (live in Colorado). But they were too wide even with normal socks on. Sending back today. Already re-ordered in 9 1/2 M. These are beautiful boots. Super, and I mean super-buttery soft leather. Great padding inside, nice low heel, but not flat. Easy to get on & off. Can’t wait for the 9 1/2 M to arrive! I’d say 100% true to size. I can’t speak to how they will wear over time, but unless they fall apart in less than a year, I’d say they are worth the price. They seem very well made, so bet they’ll be durable.
