I really love these boots! They are stylish and really comfortable. The first time I wore them, I was on my feet and walking around the whole day with zero discomfort. The lace up back is great for a wide variety of leg shapes because they are so adjustable. I have skinny ankles and chunky calves and I was able to make these fit like a glove. The zipper is great because once you get the fit dialed in, you don’t have to mess with the laces anymore.(Unless you wear pants that are thicker or thinner than usual, then it’s simple to adjust them)

This boot is ideal for me. I tried my usual size of an 8 but they were a little too large. The 7 1/2 was perfect. Also, my foot is slightly narrow. I believe this boot my run a little bit narrow because the width was perfect for me. My calves are thin and I wasn’t able to find a boot that fit, but these boots are adjustable. I am very satisfied with the fit and feel of these boots.

Beautiful high quality boot that is super comfortable. I purchased the black ones but I saw the brown ones in a store and they are also beautiful. I wore mine all day today and just love them!

It took me 5 years to find simple boots without a huge heel that fit my small calves. On my boyfriend's way home from work, he stopped a woman on the metro who was wearing these and asked her where she got them. I'm so happy he did because these boots fit like a glove. They're super comfortable and great quality. I couldn't have been happier with my purchase.

The fit was great. I have had a surgery on my left foot and now have a bunion. That foot now needs a shoe1 size bigger than the other so my right foot suffers in too big of shoes. These were amazing. I struggle to find closed shoes for winter. The toe box is wide and the laces allow for my muscular calves and fit perfect. The keather is soft as well. I saw these at the nordstrom sell and they didn't have my size so i paid full price fully intending to return them if there was one little thing wrong but they are the boot of my dreams! I got them in black and will wear with dresses and tights and over jeans. Another plus of the laces! You can tuck your pants in! Love love love them!

My go to comfy boots this year! I purchased the pietra grey oiled cow suede and I could not be happier with my choice as this color goes with every outfit I put with it!

They fit well and were comfortable right out of the box. They didn't feel stiff in the ankle area or in the toe box. I have been searching almost 2 years to find GRAY boots in leather and the only thing I could find were suede (not my favorite or the easiest to keep clean in slushy Ohio snow), and the majority of the suede styles were slouchy boots which I don't care for. I first found this style in a Von Mar (brick and mortar) store in Columbus in suede. I loved the lacing up the back, the toe had a nice shape, and I liked the contrast between a gray boot and a brown heel. Imagining I would never find them in leather, I bought the suede ones, then a day later I found these gray LEATHER ones on Zappos. I was super excited and bought them right away, planning to return the suede ones. Long story short, when I got the leather ones, the gray was significantly darker than what I wanted, and depending on what color I wore with them, they had a taupe/brown look to them. To be clear, when you look at them straight on in the light, they are a charcoal gray with some darker "seam" areas. The quality of the leather seemed fine, and I really wanted to LOVE them but I wound up keeping the suede ones purely because they were a better color for me. I would say the suede gray is more of a monochromatic tone than the leather were and closer to a silver cast than the darker charcoal color of the gray leather. I've only worn them a handful of times, and my only issue is the laces come untied several times a day no matter how tight I try to pull them. I did not need to adjust the size of the boot shaft for my calf, so the laces seem a little long. Other than that one minor item, I highly recommend these - and the gray leather are still a rare find in my opinion.

These are beautiful boots - soft, good quality leather, comfortable sole with decent arch support. My only issue is the shaft length. I like taller boots that hit closer to my knee and these are just a little too short since my tibias are long. I love Söfft shoes.

Love these boots!!! larger athletic legs not sticks, and the lacing up the back makes these the perfect fit for me. Can be made smaller or larger with easy adjustment of the laces and don't look like pirate boots when one either. Great boot strongly recommend!

Comfortable and stylish! I purchased them in light gray and have received nonstop compliments on them. No break-in period required - these boots fit perfectly from the moment I tried them on. The leopard print lining was an unexpected bonus. I highly recommend these boots!

Love the look and feel of these boots! Very stylish and comfortable to wear. Fits best with a heavy sock.

I bought these because they are Sofft and I figured they would be good for walking around the city - like all other pairs of Sofft shoes I own. Only after 2 days of moderate walking I needed to buy extra insoles. Thankfully I bought a 9.5 to accommodate for heavier socks but instead I needed the room for the insoles. I do love the fact that the laces make the boots completely adjustable and the leather is very soft and breaks in quickly. Overall I just wish they were more comfortable than they are.

These boots are AMAZING! The color is beautiful and they fit perfectly. It has taken me awhile to find a tall pair of boots that I really like and these are perfect!!

I love my boots. The only thing I've been having issue with is keeping leather strings tied tight. I am super happy with them though. I would buy again. I have another pair I bought 3 or 4 years ago and they still look brand new also. Love this brand

These boots are very comfortable and true to size. High quality materials and workmanship make these boots that I will consider ordering in another color. I love the detailing up the back. The soles are slip resistant which is nice for the winter months.

Oh my god what a beautiful boot! the leather is soft, the color whiskey is rich golden brown not too dark but great color and the boot is comfortable true to size I wear a 91/2. Heal is perfect ! I would highly recommend this classic boot !!!!!

Love, love, love! I had been wanting low heeled boots, but they are usually so plain I avoid them. The lacing up the back caught my eye and when I read in the review this had a function - to make the circumference adjustable - I had to try them. So glad I did! Makes the boots very versatile. Can wear with tights, thick socks, tucked in jeans and the adjustable calf circumference accommodates them all. Ingenious! And, I should mention, quality materials and super comfy.

I have narrow calves and have a hard time finding a boot that is flattering and not sloppy in the fit. The calf circumference of this boot is adjustable (13.5-16.5")!!! (Not posted online, but explained in the boxed packaging so it was a wonderful surprise!) On top of being adjustable, this boot is ultra comfortable and looks every bit of the quality item it is. A staple for the winter wardrobe. Worth every penny.
