Warning to girls with big calves, this boot is NOT for you. By the time I got it adjusted to fit, the laces would not close. I've always had big muscular calves that make boot shopping challenging but this seemed like a perfect option. If you have calves larger than 16" diameter, do not buy this boot. :(

I ordered these in the dark brown and love them. I have a larger calf and have been fiddling with the laces to get that right. (see description for the vast calf sizes these will fit). Once you do that, then it will just be a matter of zipping each time. I am not sure if I will keep them as I feel they are "bunching" up above ankle due to the shape of my leg and am not sure how that will wear. I am considering trying the grey suede as that might be more "forgiving" to that issue. They are beautiful nice leather - love that smell! The lining is super cute and fun too. I feel this is a high quality boot.

First of all, these boots are orange, not brown. If you like orange suede, you will like these boots. I don’t care for orange boots. Secondly, they are very narrow from top to bottom.

These are very attractive boots and they seem like they would be comfortable, but ultimately I had to return them because they didn't fit. I normally wear a 7.5 or 8 and the 8s were too small. There were two other problems with these which resulting in me returning them instead of exchanging for a larger size. First was the boot shaft height; it was just barely short enough for me to wear them and still be able to bend my leg. They needed to be about 1/2" shorter. The other were the laces. I don't think of my calves as overly large, but I did need to loosen the laces and as soon as I did that I had to let out the top two holes at the top in order to be able to tie them closed, which meant there was this weird gap at the top. They didn't look awful that way, but there was no chance I was going to be able to wear them with boot cut jeans at that point. Maybe others will have better luck.

I loved the material and they seemed well built but I must have the biggest calves out there...they still didn't work for me. They don't look as cute when the laces are stretched all the way out and they were still tight.

I’ve been wanting to buy these for past 2 years. Received today and my heart sank. The leather looks like plastic. Heels are cheaply man made material. Hate to give negative reviews but as someone who has many Sofft shoes these don’t measure up.

I’ve bought and returned several pairs of boots this fall. These are a keeper! The leather is soft and beautiful, no artificial look or feel. The fit is perfect and I only had to adjust the laces slightly to work for me. The waterproofing will come in handy in the rainy PNW. Gorgeous boots.

Great for narrow feet and thin calves

I’m short so the boots were too high for me. But the quality and comfort were great.

Fit was true to size. Laces allow good flexibility in fit. Super cute style and comfortable.

Fits wonderfully I'm short, 5'3. The back of the boot is a little tall for me. I mostly wear tights or pants so I'm sure that won't bother me. The leather is gorgeous. The style is classy. I bought them on sale for this winter. I can't wait to wear them.

I’m so happy this style is back (and waterproof!!). They are cute and very comfortable. As with other leather shoes, it took a bit of time to break them in, but after that they felt great on my feet for hours.

These are great boots. My only complaint is that the inside material is leopard print, which is not my style...but nobody sees the inside of the boot except me. The laces make the boot a bit bulky if you're trying to wear them under pants. So, these are best worn with pants tucked in. Very comfortable!

I have very thin legs and calves. These are perfect!! They fit my calves and look fabulous!!

Love these boots! I’m a standard size 8, medium width with average calves and they are true to size for me. A little bit awkward easing out the width for calves with the back lacing but with my husband’s help we got it done!

The fit is good, the toe box is a little tight on them. The package when deliver in the bag had water in the box and I had to throw the whole box away, thankfully the boots weren’t damaged though.

The fit of these boots is excellent! Super comfortable, excellent material. I have very narrow calves so it's hard to find a boot that fits well. The lace on the back makes them adjustable. There are a couple of small drawbacks - the boot doesn't have much shape for me at the ankles. It just goes straight up. I would also like a dressier sole/heel. Overall though, I'm happy with the boots and would recommend them.

I absolutely loved these boots, but I couldn't wear them because I need a boot that has a removable insole (I have my own).

I've been looking at these boots for a few years and almost bought them several times. I'm glad I waited and purchased from Zappos because they were less expensive. Very comfortable and I love the style. I love being able to make them fit my tiny calves too!

Fit really well. The laces in the back make these boots fool proof if you have trouble fitting into this style of boot. I find them to be very cushiony and comfortable. There is a lot of spring to the soles.

Fit really nicely! These are my favorite boots ever. They are literally as comfortable as sneakers. I can wear them all day long with no foot fatigue at all.

I love these boots! I purchased them in the Pavement color. Perfect grey/brown color. I almost didn’t get these because of a few poor reviews. I’m glad I got them anyway! I have pretty big calves bit the laces allowed for a perfect fit. I also have plantar fasciitis, the arch support helps to reduce my pain from that.

I am between a 7 and 7.5, and I bought the 7.5 in this boot. I had tried on a 7 in a store, in black, and it felt a bit snug across the toes. The 7.5 will allow me to wear a sock, instead of just tights. The boots are very comfy, I love being able to adjust the laces for my muscular calves. The Aztec Brown that I ordered is just the shade I was hoping for, a little less reddish than it looked on my screen, more of a coffee brown. I'm so glad to have found them in this color; no one else had this shade of brown.

Great boots. It’s still a bit warm to wear them in California, but oh how cute they are. I love the color, could go with brown, gray or black. I love how they lace up so you can adjust them to fit your calf. Super cute boot. Love them.

These are very nice boots. I have bought Sofft shoes before and loved them. I am going to love these boots as well!
