I have a couple of pairs of Toms that are several years old. They were so much softer when I bought them than the Toms on the market today. I have tried to buy new ones but the sizing seems odd and the material is too stiff for my taste.

Different than previous versions. Bigger and lower quality fabric.

I've always loved TOMS heritage canvas alpargatas. They're the most comfortable shoes own. They're simple, match-able, and sort of a care-free shoe. You just slip 'em on and go. To wash I just soak them in hot soapy water, and after they look as good as when they arrived new. Go with a half size smaller than you would normally order - the canvas will stretch. I've owned 6 pairs of these and will probably order a dozen in time. Its smart to have at least one black pair that will go with anything. And then go for a few solid colors to have fun with in the spring, with one printed for when you want a little something extra. I promise you will love these.

My wife loves running errands in these. She had to return this style and get a half size smaller because she was walking out of her normal size. But loves them and got other colors as well.

Fit was a little snug, but they’re new so probably stretch out as I wear them more. Was expecting more of a navy blue, this looks more like a teal, but still very pretty!

Love these shoes... first pair of them I owned... they are so light on your feet. Ive worn them a few times already and love them.... will definitely get another pair... I am an 8.5 and they were spot on... could use a little more arch support, but not bad.... Get a pair if your thinking about it... you will love them.

I purchased a half size smaller originally and had to return, I got one whole size smaller than my usual size (8.5) and the fit was perfect. They are super cute, and comfortable.

My second pair of Toms shoes, and definitely worth the purchase. A lovely shade of red, and comfortable, just like my first pair. I ordered a 7.5 US size in medium width - although I have wide feet, this fit seems to work for me just fine. While there is little to no arch support, that's a fairly easy fix - so complaints. Will definitely purchase more in different colors/styles.

Toms are great as always. Little snug at first but stretch right out.

I really like them but they do slip a bit in the back. If I wear no-show socks or no socks they rub on the heal a bit. Other than that they are comfortable. I wouldn’t wear them to work or any job that you’re on your feet a lot as they don’t have much support but more than I expected.

So these shoes are very cute and quality seemed reasonable for the price (I bought them on sale). Like a previous review mentioned, the blue color leans towards teal in person, but still very pretty. I usually wear a 6.5 in sandals and bought these in 6.5. At first glance, they seemed to fit well, but as I started walking around in them in my house, I found that my right foot was slipping out the back on the rare occasion, and they seemed just a little too wide on my regular width feet. I chose to return, because I'm concerned that these shoes will end up too big after they inevitably stretch with time and use. So my personal recommendation would be to try a half size smaller than your usual size (especially if you do not have wide feet).

Last year I bought a different pattern in the same shoe and the size 8 fit perfectly. The fabric was soft and took no "breaking in" time. My feet are on the narrow side and the width of these fit me nicely. However, I had to exchange the current size 8 for an 8 1/2 even after trying to stretch them a bit. I have now received the 8 1/2 but the sides are going to rub blisters at my ankles I'm afraid. I'm still debating whether to try to break in by wearing band-aids and keep them or return them.

I find that the soles of these shoes are slippery on hardwood floors. Also, I had to add new insoles because the insoles that came with the shoes offered zero support. These are fine as house slippers, but in my humble opinion, that's about it.

Great. I have a problem with my heels slipping out of shoes but this didn’t happen!

I wore a size 6 in Toms long ago when they just came out and they were comfortable but as they adapted to my feet they did become loose. This time I tried a 5.5 size. My feet are the perfect length for the sole of the shoe. My toes do have wiggle room. Since this is leather, they will stretch out in time. However, since these Toms have a cushion foam inside, the shoes are slightly tight around the elastic area. Breaking them in is crucial. Other than that, these are great everyday casual shoes.
