First, thank you ZAPPOS for your easy return process and policy! 6'3" 235, size 15 4E here and trying on shoes at the local running store is a waste of time. They don't stock them in my size. My first Brooks were Addictions which I enjoyed, and they held up really well. However, I did buy inserts for them to help with cushioning. Few years later I bought the Beast after reading reviews. The Beast did not need the cushioning inserts...really comfortable well built shoes. I was going to reorder the Beast, but both styles had been redesigned since I last bought. I also wanted to try the Adrenaline which was recommended for me on Brooks' site shoe finder. The Adrenaline's are much lighter than the Beast and Addiction. Comfort and cushioning are similarly excellent on both the Adrenaline and Beast, so I went with the Adrenaline's. Time will tell if they hold up as well as my old Beasts. Thank you Zappos for helping me get the right shoe.

Great running shoe. New to Brooks brand and have found a favorite

Solid stability running shoe without being *too* heavy. Brooks styling leaves a lot to be desired -- but I suppose with Brooks the reason you're buying them is substance over style.

I originally ordered these in a normal width but Brooks seem to run narrow compared to the Keens and Merrels I usually wear. Very cushioned shoe and comfortable. I tend to over pronate and have had knee problems over the years but these work. Though the insole is better and more cushioned than what Merrels offers I use an aftermarket orthotic which works well in this shoe but is probably not necessary for people with better knees.

I ordered these in men’s size, width was perfect, rest of the shoe huge.

I’m very disappointed that after only 36 days after delivery both of the shoes have holes in them! For $130 I expected more than a month’s wear. Of course this is 6 days past their guarantee so I’m really doubly disappointed. So much for “quality” shoes. These are not made with quality materials as you can tell from the photo.
