The elastic wasn't sewn as tightly together so as to have a snug fit like the previous ones, I'm a little disappointed, even though it has the drawstring its not the same as being able to have the elastic stretch and fit snuggly.

Smaller XL than a year ago; ordered the exact same & not as comfortable

2 of the bands are unraveling on the shorts and I've only washed them once

The product is not as quality as it was in the past. The cotton fabric is thinner and the fit of the pockets is a bit odd looking. Also I ordered three pairs of shorts and only received one correct size. I still will purchase Champion clothing and like your clothes, but this experience was lacking.

Really uncomfortable exposed elastic waistband, impossible to wear without tucking shirt in, and who does that on a pair of sport shorts anyway??? Very poor design! Would buy a ton of these AND long pants, too, without that terrible inner waistband! On their way back to you.

Elastic is very rough against the skin.

Comfy classic shorts. But these were soo large that my fiance could fit both legs in one leg hole. Had to be returned.

The shorts are pretty big, they are more like basketball shorts if you're into that. The material is pretty thin too. The waist string is terrible, super thin with no substance. I've tied it super tight and my shorts would still drag. I'd recommend ordering a size down if you usually fit comfortably in the size you wear. I fit a medium usually without tying anything or stretching the clothes and I would recommend buying a small instead.

It is not the same product that champion used to carry. Unfortunately Champions isn't making the award winning products that they used to and carry. Maybe it's Covid related.

I've bought these shorts for years and used them primarily for relaxing around the house. Unfortunately they aren't as comfortable as they used to be. The cut and length are great but the waistband is really uncomfortable and irritating so I relegated these shorts for use when I have some work to do around my house whether inside or out. Hopefully they change that in the future or I won't be purchasing these again.

The fabric is much thinner than previous versions I've owned. It is also not as soft. When I washed the shorts prior to wearing them, the elastic band in the waist relaxed. The shorts were very disappointing. On the positive side, shipping of my order was prompt.

I used to have these shorts years ago and they were much shorter. Now they go past the knee and I ordered a size smaller than I usually wear. The quality is good but I wish the size was a bit shorter and above the knee.

I used to buy Champion products a lot. I purchased these shorts because they were the perfect color. I figured that the fabric would be comparable to what I remember. WRONG. These shorts are so scratchy that I cannot wear them! And I was looking forward to receiving them.

The drawstring broke on one pair of the gym shorts that I purchased within a week

I had bought a pair of shorts of that look identical to the ones on the picture. They're perfect and super comfortable so I decided to buy some for Christmas and I was surprised the ones that came in were different. The ones on the picture are slightly tight around the waist and made of a thick material while the ones that came in were like cotton basketball shorts. The ones I got weren't too bad but I was hoping to get the real ones. I ordered two so I know it's not on accident.

Needs a MUCH stronger drawstring!! I've already broken it, so these shorts are now worthless.

They have been my favorite shorts for years, but they are too long now and I returned them. Eight inches would be long enough, but they went beyond my knees.

Not as thick material as previous rugby shorts. Weak waste band. Extremely disappointed. GoIng to buy Soffee shorts instead.

Does not fit, the large is MUCH bigger than they used to be

Absolutely the worst waistband I could imagine. Totally uncomfortable. Shorts material is mediocre at best. Very disappointed.

These would be great shorts if the elastic waistband had been covered with any kind of material. The elastic waistband is exposed and has the feel of sandpaper.

They no longer cover the elastic waistband. Very uncomfortable.

The material isn't all that great but for the price I'm ok with them
