The wool upper and insole are yummy. Very soft and pliable like a really thick blanket. Comfy all around and stylish. But I can't believe the lack of grip on the bottom. My slippers have more grip on the floor than these shoes. I slipped a little on my wood floors when I first put them on. How about a little bit more tread? Even so, hoping scuffing up the bottom a bit will help. Will walk around the wood floors a bit more to be sure but I'll probably keep 'em.

These shoes were cute but the tread is terrible. They were very slippery to walk in, so they went back.

These felt very small. I wear an 8.5, and also have wide feet, but have never had a problem with this style shoe before (sneaker). Will have to return due to size. Also wasn't impressed with the lack of tread on the bottom, they were slippery on my kitchen floor - so can't imagine trying to walk around in a MN winter outside with these! But very cute, and love the material for the cold months!

Soles are slippery! I read the same thing in someone’s review but they looked like the exact style I wanted, and Dr Scholls are always comfortable so I figured I try them. So comfortable but the soles are a lightweight,cheap, and maybe not even real rubber. Such a disappointment. They slid on my ceramic tile floor as well as my wood matte finish floors. I returned because of this reason only. If you will wear them only outside on rough surfaces or inside on carpet, they will be fine. I’m hoping next year Dr Scholls come out with a better sneaker.

Great shoe. Great arch support. Great style. I normally wear 8.5-9. Sometimes 8.5 is too small for me, but I can’t remember last time I needed a size larger than a 9 but on this style I needed 9.5. Keep that in mind. Zappos is great with returns and exchanges, though, so you can’t go too wrong.

I had previously ordered a much more expensive, very popular brand of wool sneaker. That sneaker had no support at all. These shoes are wonderful. They were comfortable from the very first wearing. They're comfy without being over-structured, but have enough foot bed support for walking on rougher surfaces. So pleased with my purchase, I'm considering a second pair.

I bought these for our trip to New York City. They stood up to five days and 40 miles of walking. Fairly fashionable and comfortable! I bought the charcoal wool and a navy, I was going to return the navy but now I’m going to keep both!

The shoe is only 30% wool and 70% polyester but has more support then another 100% wool shoe that I tried. It is comfortable overall and warmer then just canvas for the colder weather.

This shoe meets multiple checkmarks for me: Can wear to work and also casual: So it's a great all day shoe. As a freelancer going out to do assignments in various settings (professional office settings, hospitals, home visits etc.) and then running an errand or two in between, this feature of this shoe is high on my list. Comfortable: I can walk all day in them with no foot pain or concerns. Comfortable fit straight out of the box. Stylish: I love the mesh design. Has a business casual look to them overall and I've already gotten complements from my fellow freelancer colleagues. Black color blends right in: My occupation generally frowns upon bright colored clothing so the black color was perfect for my work wardrobe. Insole: it's actually pretty decent. I have plantar fasciitis and I purchased these shoes with the intention of removing the insoles and putting my custom ones in. I was in a rush and decided to skip that step, to give the insole a chance and see how they felt. They were surprisingly comfortable and felt like walking on clouds. Overall this shoe gets 5 stars from me, considering the low price and all that it offers. There are two things to be aware of: don't wear these on rainy days - they ARE NOT water-proof. I got stuck in the rain and regretted it. Because of the mesh material on the outsole they really pick up on stray dirt so I am mindful of how and where I walk for the sake of keeping them clean and dry. My fellow New Yorkers who run around all day will understand what I mean by this.

I am very happy with these shoes. A friend had raved about a similar shoe in another brand, but those didn't fit me. I wear a 9.5 or 10 and that brand's 10 was too small and that was the largest women's size. I ordered the 10 in Dr. Scholl's and they are perfect. So cozy and warm Definitely a casual shoe but a step up from an athletic shoe in terms of appearance. I just know that these are going to keep my feet toasty and I will choose to wear them often. I usually wear orthotic inserts but these are comfortable with their own inner soles.

Wanted to love this shoe, but it was tighter than I expected. Got my foot in, but because my foot is slightly wide, it was very tight across the widest part of my foot (just where the laces end).

Bought these as an alternative to the original wool sneaker. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the fit of these. The Burgundy color was stylish, but the sole had little to no traction and I slipped on my wood floor after taking 5 steps in these. I felt like these shoes were extremely tight mid foot, and loose around the heel. The back of my heels were being rubbed raw from the short time I walked around my house in these shoes. I also ordered the original wool sneakers, and prefer those, despite the higher sticker tag.

I love these shoes but not until I got a pair a full size larger than my usual size. I am a big fan of wool shoes on my bare feet and these feel really good.

These are like walking with smooth felt shoes ... I’m surprised their not a liability for the company - immediately returning as they’re downright dangerous to wear inside on any smooth floor. DO NOT BUY THESE.

The fit on this shoe felt very off. I sized up, but still couldn’t get my foot in.

I love that these shoes do not blister or rub the back of my heel, and feel like I am walking on a cloud! They were slick on my hardwood bedroom floor when I first put them on, but not after walking outside. I could not slide them on that same floor after the walk outside. I have loved these so much, I just bought the remaining pairs in my size!

Fit well but I could use a little more width at the toe. I found no issues with a slippery sole that others described.

I followed another kind reviewer’s thorough experience and ordered a half size up (I’m usually a 9, SOMETIMES an 8.5, but NEVER a 9.5) and got the 9.5 and they fit perfect! therefore, this shoe definitely runs small. however, VERY comfortable and stylish. I’m sure the interior wool around the ankle will start pilling, but can’t go wrong for $50!
