This is my second pair. Bought the medium gray earlier, and loved them, so was delighted to see that they came in black, with a black sole. They are for "around town," not serious walking, but I can wear them all day and my feet are so comfortable! I hope the wool will hold up over time - we shall see. Also, they are very cute, even on my size 10 feet!

I saw these go on sale and had heard this company had shoes that were super comfortable. After wearing them for about a week, I agree! The style is really cute and several people have complimented me on them. ** I read other reviews before buying so I ordered a half size up. I usually wear a 7.5 and an 8 fit my perfectly.

They fit as expected and very comfortable. I would buy these again.

I've been wearing these shoes non-stop since I bought them. They are very comfortable. At first, I thought they might be too narrow, but after wearing a while, they are okay even though they fit snugly without socks. If I were to order them again, I might get the next size bigger to allow for socks if I wanted to wear them.

I purchased these shoes about a month ago and they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever work!! I walk 5 miles everyday and they are so fabulous I can't say enough good things about them!! Do yourself a favor and buy two!! I did!! :)

These shoes are very comfortable and warm for cold, dry, freezing New England winters.

I ordered a pair of freestep sneakers wore them and decided I needed these in another color. They are perfect ,comfortable priced right and great style . Love them

For some dumb reason, I waffled back and forth over these shoes, eyeing them online for months. Finally, when I saw they were on sale, it motivated my Dutch little heart and I took the plunge. Let me just say now, if you're on the fence, buy them! I kid you not, I think they're the most comfortable shoes I've worn. Yesterday I walked for over six miles around the city, and when I got home almost didn't change into slippers because these guys felt like I was already wearing them. Support - bing! Comfort - bing bing! Style - bing! I'll be interested to watch and see if the wool starts to do that puckering/irregular wear on the front of the shoes like woolen Allbirds. Thus far, I couldn't be more pleased. And for what I paid? DREAMY.

Very light and comfy. Does not make my feet sweat nor does the cold get thru. Love em!

You cannot beat the comfort of this stylish shoe. They instantly reminded me of my Allbirds by their look. The only complaint is that they have not stretched out enough yet, but I've only worn them 3 times. I can only wear a super thin sock, but I can tell they are breaking in each time I wear them. My over-pronated feet feel supremely supported in this shoe.

I love these shoes! They are so cute and comfortable. Would definitely recommend to someone who is on their feet for work. My only complaint is that there is already a little tear in the seam from the sole and I just bought them.

I teach kindergarten so I am on my feet a lot (about 8,000 steps/ day at work alone.) I have looked for shoes the past four years that would keep my feet from hurting after a long day at work. I have high arches, long, and narrow feet. I am happy to say I HAVE FOUND MY DREAM SHOE! I was able to wear these shoes all week and go for a walk after school in them with no pain or soreness! I definitely plan on purchasing more Dr. Scholls shoes! Thanks for serving teachers everywhere!

I put the Freestep through a major test. I have problematic feet, and bought these shoes on a whim for a trip to NYC. Walked over 10 miles in them. I was shocked-no break in needed! I've never written a review but these shoes are definitely worthy. The fit is perfect to size, and they go with almost any outfit! If you're on the fence, get them.

Shoes are comfortable and the wool material is warm. Felt a little tight across the top, but it should stretch out with wear. The length is true to size. So far they seem to be holding up pretty well.

I really like the look of this shoe. I am on my feet all day and because of this I use Dr. Scholl shoe inserts as well. I was hoping to fit my shoe inserts into these shoes, however, when I tried to wear them with inserts, they were much too tight and hurt my feet. They fit fine without the inserts, so that is how I will wear them. The navy blue version of this shoe allowed for more space to fit the inserts. I like both pairs for teaching and standing all day long.
