I typically wear a 6.5 to 7 and the 6.5 was way too tight, a 7 may be ok, but not sure bc it also felt tight in width and I do not have a wide foot, average I would say. Over the last two years I have noticed I am leaning more towards a 7 and I am not sure if that's changes in manufacturing or what, bc I am pretty sure at age 46 my feet haven't grown! Very cute, well made, and debating on reordering.

These are cute and a good staple piece but I was hoping they would be more comfortable. I ordered 1/2 size up as other people recommended and this fit perfectly. I tried to wear them walking in Paris for hours and after about 2 hours my feet were dying. I thought because of the Dr. Scholl's name they would have been more comfortable. Cute though.

I wanted to love these boots so bad but unfortunately I will be returning them. I am a solid 11 in Dr. Scholl's shoes but these were extremely tight across the top of my foot, almost to the point where it felt like they were pinching my skin. This is the fourth pair of Dr. Scholl's I've tried and will be returning this month, which is really unfortunate. I love the styles but they just aren't fitting the same across the styles.

Love the style! The boot shaft is just the right height. I've searched for so long and tried so many pairs of boots only to return most because the boot shaft was either too tall or too short. These boots look great for work or dressed down with jeans. I think they will also pair well with tights and a dress.

I bought these booties last year in the chocolate brown suede color and love the way that they fit so much that I bought the calf hair leopard; however, I had to return the leopard pair due to a defect in the calf hair. To avoid another issue, Zappos awesome customer service easily exchanged them for the oyster velour suede color - a great [light] neutral color that will compliment many items in my closet. They tend to run narrow, so they are perfect for my AA width and the toe box is roomy enough to wear thin footie socks. I like the heel height - not too tall and not too flat, that looks great with jeans, a skirt, or a dress yet still dressy or casual. I think that Dr. Scholl's does a great job of including an insole that provides both comfort and durability. I did apply suede protector on them to ensure that they can withstand any simple stains but buyer beware: when you buy a pair of suede shoes, you do need to be cognizant of weather conditions (suede doesn't like rain/snow/ice/salt). . I highly recommend Dr. Scholl's Amara - Original Collection bootie!

Fit was as expected. I have a wide foot and ordered a 9.5. Beautiful shoe with smooth, light suede. Brown heel is the perfect height for comfory and accents the suede. I do notice after hours of wear, I have some slight discomfort, which could be due to feet swelling during the day. Because they are suede, they will stretch, so I expect them to get more comfortable with wear.

I absolutely LOVE these booties, but they are not suitable to wear in the Midwest with snow. It is not the snow, but they are very slick on the bottom. There is zero tread. I can only wear these if there is no snow, sleet or ice so that limits my wear to October and March and April.

I’ve been looking for black booties for such a long time and these are perfect. They look great for work or can dress down with casual leggings. I am picky about having supportive shoes for my feet so I did have to use an insert, almost could have sized up another half a size (usually I’m a 7.5 and based on other reviews I ordered an 8) to see if my inserts would fit better but I am happy enough with these. The leather is smooth and looks high quality.

These boots are the most comfortable first time wearing I have experienced for a long time. I wear a size 8 US or size 6 UK. If there were other colors beside the black and pale gray, I would buy another pair. Excellent boots!

I absolutely love these shoes! I wear an 8 in everything and these were true to size. They are extremely comfortable and fashionable.
