I love these boots but I will have to return them after trying two pairs because of my high instep, a problem I often have with boots. The style is great, they are just what's needed to look smart in a wet climate, but I have to struggle to get them on and it would be impossible to wear them with heavy socks. It's a big disappointment. I have a pair of Aravon sandals that are the most comfortable shoes I own and had high hopes for the boots.

Out of 5 pairs I tried these were the winner. They are a littel on the narrow side which works well for me, they feel very stable. Also do get the 1/2 size smaller, other users recommended that and they were 100% right.

I wear a 7 WW and these fit to a tee. Nice clean lines in a slightly above ankle style. My only gripe would be thst they only have zippers on one side which makes them a little difficult to slip on, but I still love them. it's hard to find to find anything cute in an extra wide.

Comfy as soon as I put them on!

My problem is I have high arches! I had hoped this boot was cut roomy enough through the last but alas; I had to return them. Aquatalia and some 400$ Italian brands seem to be the only option for me.

I have been wearing this almost everyday since I got it from Zappos a few months ago. My feet are problem feet—wide, flat, sensitive. I thought this was half a size too large because my foot was sliding forward with each step. I added insoles to solve that and because I like the feel of thick soles. I gave it 4 stars for that “sole” reason, it wasn’t thick enough for me. Overall, I love this shoe. Looks good too.

It was a cute boot. But it rubbed on my ankle too much. I didn't think I could live with that. So I did return them. I also thought I was buying a grey color, warm iron. But I guess my computer was deceiving because these were brown. The box even said brown and not warm iron.

OK....I would have liked more arch support and comfort.

I ordered half size up to fit over thick socks. Very comfortable for city walking although there is only slim to moderate arch support. Plenty of room in the toes which I need. Not an elegant boot but good looking, well constructed and very good for walking or spending time standing.

These boots are definitely NOT the gray color in the photo. They are a deep coco brown color.

Very generous cut. I wear a 9.5 wide and opted for the EE so I could wear heavy socks with them. There are rarely boots made in this width. I would rather have had the option for leather as I'm not convinced the suede will hold up to Michigan snow and slush. Would recommend.

The boots rubbed over my ankle when walking

I really wanted to like these boots. They were stylish with a zipper opening to facilitate getting into the boot, but they were just too tight on my feet. I liked the color and rounded toe. I liked the soft inside and the thinsulate to keep your feet warm, but just could adjust to the tightness.

Very disappointing to find narrow toe box in a WW shoe. Color nice, but boot not accommodating to bunions.

These boots did not fit me right at all. Neither the width (for my medium-wide foot) nor in the general footbed. My heels slipped in them. Definitely was not a keeper for me.

As a heads up this is not a true WIDE shoe. I wear medium to slight wide when my feet swell - decided to go with the closest wide to medium. Super narrow! Way way too narrow - buyers beware.

Based on reviews, I ordered a wide, but found that it was too wide. If you wouldn't normally order a wide, I don't think you need to do so with this boot. The styling is pretty bland too. I ordered these, and a pair of similar leather waterproof Sorrels, and went with the Sorrels, which I thought had a nicer look to them.

This boot is not comfortable, very stiff leather. Width was good but 7.5 slipped in the heel when tried them on, foot bed is hard. Disappointed, I have other Aravons that are comfortable so surprised at these. Also color isn't very good more of a brown.

I have been wearing Aravon shoes for at least 8 years and they are my favorite brand for comfort. This was the first that the shoe was too narrow. The boot was really difficult to get on as well. I got another similar style from another brand and they slipped right on.

THis boot was really cute, but did not work on my feet-ankle slipped and last was jsut not cut for me. That's not the fault of the shoe, but just not a good fit for me.
