Love everything about this boot. It's comfortable, warm and waterproof without sacrificing style - elegant, not clunky. Wedge heel is just the right height.

A cute, well-made boot--I need a wide toe box, and this provided it. It's exactly what I was looking for in a cold-weather bootie--sturdy, but neutral and sleek enough to wear with something dressier than jeans. The warm iron color is a great neutral; definitely more brown than gray, though. Alas, though the toe box is exactly right in the 8.5 D, the heel is really, really roomy--even more than the usual expected with a wide toe box. It's almost as though the heel is longer as well as wide. I tried to order the next size down, but they're out of stock--hoping I'll be able to get it soon, because this is otherwise a great boot.

I ordered a 7WW, which is my normal size. Perfect fit & they still allow for slightly heavier socks. First outing we went to the beach where there was a lot of wind & rain. My feet never got wet or cold, which are really 2 separate things. They are also very comfortable. I walked around in a mariners museum for over an hour on concrete floors & my back didn’t hurt which means the arch support is very good. I’m sure they could be more stylish, but they are kind of neutral. Plain but kind of classy.

The boot fits me well. It is a little wide in the heel, but I usually have that problem with any shoe I buy. Fortunately, it does not rub up and down on my heel, so I can't complain about the fit. The shoe is definitely NOT green as it appears in the photo. It is a chocolate brown, but still a beautiful boot. The fit makes it a keeper.

These seem pretty awesome but are HUGE. I have very high arches and very wide feet and normally am an 8 in boots like these, but they feel like they are at least a 9. Gonna try going a full size down and hope they work!

I ordered this boot in the same size in two colors. The brown fit perfectly. Unfortunately, the black ones were significantly tighter. I returned the black pair.

Perfect fit at 8 1/2 which is my size. Comfortable, no pinched toes, Fairly easy to get on due to side zipper which slid open fairly well. I liked the color which was accurately shown in photo. The sole is nice and pliable. They look good with jeans or other pants. Thanks Zappos

I wear a size 5.5 2E in New Balance and Brooks running shoes. These boots in a size 6 2E (5.5 was not available when I ordered) was understandably a little long. Width was fine. My feet are wide but my ankles and calves are not. There is a nearly 2" gap between the front of my calf and the top edge of the boot so it looks odd. I can easily put the boots on and off without having to use the side zipper. Returning these and still looking for the perfect ankle boot.

I wanted to like these, they were relatively comfortable and I could see how they'd be awesome. Unfortunately, the outside of the arch was really high, uncomfortably so. The zippers on the inside are also so big that they click clack and I was checking to see if there were tags on the shoes I forgot to snip off. I had to return them because between the zippers and the high outside arches I was walking funny and it was not worth the price. Even though they were a wide and I'm normally ok with that, I think I would have needed a double wide in this shoe. (Ordered/returned size 6W)

I didn’t care for these boots. They were not as comfortable as the bogs I also ordered. They look very nice, they just didn’t work for me.

An interesting boot. I really appreciate the fact that it's available in wide and extra wide. Not many boots offer those options. And the box and packaging are vey pretty! That said, the Aravon Fairlee is an odd cross between a fashion boot and a winter boot. The fact that it's waterproof and insulated is great. But it's too loose around the ankle, and the beautiful suede exterior seems like it might not be very durable. It's the right boot for someone, but not for me.

I have Aravon shoes that fit well. I ordered the same size in the boot, and it felt a full size smaller. Going back.

Very comfortable boots. They accommodate my orthotics. I usually wear a size 5.5 W or 6. I am new to using orthotics and am trying various boots. The 6 W fit well, and looks good. The black suede is not pure dark black, but more of a "dusty black" when compared with other black suede boots.

I love these boots! so much so that I have returned 2 pairs and am hoping the 3rd one fits. I ordered my usual size of 6.5 WW. There was too much room in the toe box and the heel slipped. The 6.5 W was a little better but there was still too much room in the toe box and the heel was wide. Am crossing my fingers that the 6.5B fits! I require inserts for arch support and these boots have a removable liner. I was tempted to order a 6W since the shoe is a little longer than the 6-6.5 insert but since I'm ordering a B width, I decided to stick with the 6.5. am hoping that a "regular" widthe won't have such a wide heel. I've never had problems with heel width before this.

The instep area is big and wide but I'm keeping them anyway. They're soft and warm and waterproof. And they look cute.

I wear a 9.5 EE, so I sometimes have trouble finding shoes that fit well, and especially boots. Zappos is terrific in that I can usually find just what I'm looking for. These boots fit really well, the EE width that I purchased is not quite wide enough for my bunions, but the shoe is flexible enough that it's not a problem. They feel good on my feet, feel nice to the touch, and were comfortable to walk in after a very short break-in period. I also like the flexible sole that gives good traction! I'm in Colorado where we recently had a snow storm and I chose them today over my snow boots.

These boots are very cute but the ankle is very wide.

I've been wearing these every day for a few weeks. They're so comfortable. And they do keep my feet dry in the Pacific NW rain! The zippers make a little jingling noise when you walk, other than that they are great! I got the black color, size 10 medium.

These are very cute and waterproof - a big plus. I wanted them for upcoming travel - feeling they would be comfortable for walking and I'd be prepared for rain - but the only width available was a EE- I gave it a try - I thought with my orthotics and heavy socks - it would be okay - but they are just too big and the other sizes/widths are sold out. So - sorry to have to send them back - I'd love to try them again in the right size.

Will always check out this brand first in the future as my foot loves them. Perfect cut for me.

While looking for waterproof boots for my trip to Europe I stumbled on this brand and took a chance. They are so comfortable and cute. I can dress them down with jeans or up with a dress.

Never heard of this brand before but I really needed waterproof booties and there is almost no selection for extra wide widths. I have only worn them in light rain so far so I can't say how waterproof they are. I was very impressed by how comfortable they were to walk in. On the second day that I wore them, I had to walk quite a long distance and they were amazingly comfortable. I wear them to work almost every day. I was also surprised and happy to see how nice they look with casual skirts. I wear them with tights or light socks. I would suggest going up half a size if you plan to wear them with heavy socks.

The arch was too high for me.
