Love the womens version! I'm a 5'11" man andI have skinny calves and the mens ones come up higher and just fall down to the top of my calf. Womens fits perfect!

I have a few pair not because they wear out but because I love the retro colors they do them in.

Awesome product! Fits true to size. Love the length on them. Took them out ice climbing and they kept my pant legs dry.

Before these bad boys came into my life, I was forever patching up pant legs from all the rips and tears received from traipsing through forest slash. When I was not patching, I was dumping forest debris out of my boots or wringing out rainy sock juice. No More! With these stalwart sentinels wrapped around my lower extremities, I can klutz around all day without having to worry about what's happening down there. Also, my piggies stay warmer with that extra bit of layer in the snow.

Can't say enough about these gaiters. Kept me warm and dry in rough winter mountain conditions. These are my first choice in winter gear. I don't leave home without them.

I bought these for Chukar hunting. It's a combination of protection from weather but also brush and cheatgrass. I spent my first weekend in these climbing mountains in the snow, through rock slides and sage brush. They were awesome.

It keeps the feet dry.

I've always wore the bottom strap out from walking and the biothane strap is indestructible. I've put over 200 miles on them and they look brand new.

I am a size 9, these are pretty big on my hiking boots but fit perfectly on my mountaineering boots (I got a size L). These are not the gaiters I'd take with me hiking anyways, so I'll probably be back for a lighter trail pair soon... but for alpine, glacier travel, etc... these gaiters are holding up great! I'm horrible at stepping on my gaiters with crampons. So we'll see how long these last, but I'm really pleased thus far

I wear a size 9 in my hiking boots and mountaineering boots, I got a large but need to exchange them for a medium, they were way too loose around my calves. that being said, they're definitely keepers; super sturdy, dense, and dependable. I used to have a pair of hiking gaiters, the cascadias, and these feel much better quality.

Perfect for wet and snowy alpine persuits!

They transform my hiking sneakers into boots-keep me dry and warm!

These are a great product, and in my mind the standard for quality backcountry gaiters. I live in the Yukon, and I use them for AT skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, ice climbing, mountaineering... Keep making these please!

These gore-tex gaiters fit great and keep snow off your boots. Easy on and easy off. Highly recommend them!

My first pair of Crocodiles gaiters lasted through 14 years of training and searches as a volunteer with search and rescue. I use them in all 4 seasons. These gaiters worked very well to keep thorns, twigs, mud, snow, and insects out of my boots, and kept my shoe laces tied at the same time. :) When worn over my rain pants, they protected the cuffs from getting shredded going through brush. My first pair is getting somewhat threadbare now, so I am finally retiring them, but will still use them around the house when I am spreading mulch in the garden, mowing, or weed whacking.

I wanted to add that L.L.Bean's Customer Service was helpful, as always, for providing me with the measurements of the height and bottom circumference of the size small gaiters, so I could ensure a proper fit.

I'm very happy with these gaiters. I wear a size 6 1/2 shoe and the women's size small fits my boots perfectly. The top is adjustable. I think they will last for years.

Love these gaitors-a bit pricey, but worth it. I use them for snowshoeing, running, walking, also hiking, in mostly cold weather (under 20 degrees) and heavy snow (Rochestert, NY). They really do keep me warm and dry. My shoe size indicated a medium, but I'm 5' so I oredered the small. Covers right up to my knees-also substanital covering of socks and footwear. They are a bit stiff , but with use should loosen them up. Easy to put on/off. Looks like they'll last 10 years...at least.

I've used these while snowshoeing through 3 foot powder, a bunch of regular snowshoeing, and going on a ridiculously muddy hike. They're truly waterproof, allow absolutely no snow in, they're adjustable, and tall enough to go up to the bottom of my knee- I view them as a required accessory now. One thing to note, I could've gone down a size comfortably- I wear an 8, I'm 5'8" and ordered a medium.

I absolutely love these gaiters. They fit snuggly, don't bunch up, or fall down. They're VERY easy to put on, and the velcro is very strong. They're not just for snow! I also use them for muddy, wet hikes too. They keep mud and water off my clothes, and out of my shoes. They wash off very easily. When necessary, I have used a scrub brush on them with no problems. The water runs right off and they dry quickly. And, if it matters to anyone, I think they're quite fashionable! If you're wearing black pants, from a distance it'd be hard for someone to tell that you've got them on. They are not bulky, and they flair out nicely over your shoes. Even up close, they look good!

Bought them for my daughter. She has had others and said these are the BEST ! We have always had great luck with LLBean items.
