This shoe felt good on my feet except the top of the boot at the zipper rubbed my ankle which I knew would cause a blister. The material is good quality and style of the shoe was just what I wanted. I’m terribly disappointed.

I got these same booties last year but I got them in a medium width and they ended up killing my feet too many times so I put them in the donation pile. While I was looking this year for new booties, I noticed these come in wide width so I purchased again. I got my same 7.5. The wide width doesn't squeeze my feet and toes so much so I think these will work. I typically wear a medium, if that helps. I like the way they look, understated but with the cute tassels on each side, not shiny - more of a nubuck finish. The soles are non slip with a little bit of rubber traction. The heel is maybe an inch and a half, very easy to handle but enough lift to feel taller. The cushioning in the footbed isn't the greatest - it seems like it would be when you first get them but the thin foam quickly flattens out. Clarks should really fix that and put more of a arch support/orthotic support system in the bottom. Even just a little more would help. I know they can. I have plenty of Clarks with comfortable footbeds. I probably could have sized up to an 8 as well but I think the heel would start slipping. So, I'm going to chance it again with these. I hope they end up being more comfortable than my old pair. They look great with my jeggings and leggings but these aren't the type of bootie I would wear with a dress or skirt. I highly recommend going with your half size bigger and putting an orthotic insert in these.

Was surprised at how floppy these are on my feet. 8.5 wide. Width was good but they are a bit long and the heel area was too wide. I do not have narrow heels but my feet were sliding up and down. Maybe better with thicker socks but the style was just ok so never mind. I have the Clarks lace up booties which are still comfortable and stylish after a couple of years of wear, so I had high hopes for these. In this boot style the Rockport and Hush Puppies versions are much better. I finally settled on the Hush Puppies. Rockports looked too much like some other shoes I have. Sam Edelman were cutest- most stylish - but uncomfortable. If you don’t need the leather boot look try the stretchy Zees. Soft like slippers. Keeping those too.

They are cute and comfortable, but slightly loose fitting. They are great with a thick pair of socks - ones long enough to fold down and create an extra layer at the ankle so they don't rub.

Super cute but ran big. I ordered my usual size 10 but my heel slipped up with every step. Returning and ordering the 9.5, we shall see...

They arrived a bit slower than normal for Zappos but in good condition. The feel of the uppers seem like they are moisture proof. That would make it good for wet weather. My observation is these are a more tailored style than I expected. The top edge of the shaft rubs on my ankle and is narrower than I had hoped. The width is also narrow as well. I have several Clarks boots and the quality seems to be consistent...just not the fit which is more to do with the style more than anything. It is a shame because I love the look they just do not fit the way I had hoped.

Some Clarks shoes fit me like a glove, these did not. I wanted to love them, but the whole shoe felt a little wide and bulky on my feet. The top of the bootie also hit me in an awkward spot, and just overall these were uncomfortable.

After reading the reviews I ordered 7+1/2 wide (due to high arches/bunions) when I usually wear size 8. I am going to exchange them for a size 7 and hope for the best. I like the simple style, color, and I can't wear shoes with a heel any higher than this.

Felt tight and no arch support. Plus the heel put all the weight on the ball of my foot and I did not like that. Not comfortable. Sent back. Purchased another Clark bootie a half size large and wide in size so I could fit my othotics in there comfortably since this offered no support.

I have a very wide foot. It’s hard to find cute boots for wide feet. These for me, fit the bill in both areas. I love the brown leather which goes well with jeans whether skinny or straight. Flat heal works nice too. Lots of room for a thick sock I bought 8.5 wide. Worst thing was trying to get that sticker off the bottom of the shoe. Musta been attached with Gorilla Glue! Wish they came in a neutral color. But hey, these will do.

I am very happy with these. I was looking for a very comfortable black bootie and it’s a bonus that these are real leather. I got them for an amazing price too. It’s so hard to find shoes that are actually wide, and these are, which is great. I feel like they could be a little more stylish, but the comfort is the most important thing for me.

These are the shoes I've been looking for! Stylish, comfortable, and they go with everything. I am a size 5 with a wide foot. This shoe doesn't come in a 5 wide, but the 5 1/2 gives me enough room in the toebox and is a comfortable fit. Decent arch support, although I would probably need more support if I was on my feet all day.

This is my second pair of this brand. They feel like house slippers walking around for hours.

Color is not taupe. It is very dark brown bordering on black. Looks too much like the black, so back they go. Otherwise very comfy.

The fit and size were good but should have gotten a 1/2 size larger or wide to accommodate thicker socks.
