Very well made, sturdy, I loved the clean style.
I wear 8.5 WW and sized up to 9WW for extra room if I wanted to wear a sock. I thought the width was fine, lots of toe room.
My only problem was where they hit on the ankle. Apparently I'm sensitive there. Maybe I would get used to it, but for the price I'm not willing to take the chance. So returning them, with regret.

I have very narrow feet, especially heels, and the narrow was too wide. (I can wear a narrow but a slim sometimes fits better.) Also, the tongue was too rigid and dug into the front of my ankle.
I liked the look of them and really wanted them to work for me!

We had to return them because they were way too big.

As others have mentioned, these slip on the heel. Too bad, because they are so well made. Nice to wear if I won’t be doing too much walking.

Love the the Styling, love the workmanship, like the look of the sole. The shoe has the simple and practical look I was looking for. The 12 N fit was too full for me overall. When I tie the lacing there is no space and the sides are butting up against each other. Even laced that way the boot/shoe was not tight enough and left no chance of tightening them should they loosen up with wear. I will order this in a slender width and hope it fits better.

I can't because I can not find many to choose from with a 12Narrow or slim foot. :-(

I got a 10WW in these, which is my normal size in SAS shoes, of which I have a lot, but these were too narrow across the ball of the foot even in thin socks. They were too tight to pull on at all in thicker socks like you'd want to wear in winter. They also felt rather stiff and heavy. A shame, because the dark brown leather is a very pretty shade and just what I wanted.

Fit OK. Disappointed in the material. Already have a pair of your shoes made out of the same material. Do not like that as well as regular blue leather.

I don't have toes, so very few shoes fit me. I've had the most luck with SAS, but this particular shoe has a seam that hits me where it hurts badly, so I can't wear them.

I find these boots very wide. I order 9S shoes from SAS frequently, and they usually fit. These are quite wide, and I will need to purchase some very heavy socks to compensate. If I hadn't worn these outdoors before I discovered the width, I would have returned them. Also, the exterior looks more like fabric than leather.

I ordered a size 8 1/2 and worried that it might be too small with a thick sock but the boots were much too large. The boots are very stiff around the ankle when tied and because of that, very uncomfortable so I'll be sending them back and not ordering a smaller size.

Great looking boot. I ordered a size 9 which is the size I normally wear, and it was recommended. I should have ordered a 9.5. The size 9 was too tight.

I wanted to love this boot. For an SAS shoe with the special footbed, it has a very narrow, rounded toe box. It is deep, but the round toe is constrictive and makes the boot look larger and clunkier than it needs to. I have worn SAS sandals with the tri-pad footbed for years and they are consistently the most comfortable shoes ever. I have wide feet and bunions and that footbed is great. I hoped for the same with this boot, but alas, the comfort is not there. Propet Delaney is 1/3 the price and while the quality isn't as good as the SAS, the comfort is close and the style is much nicer.

These boots are adorable and I was sure from some of the review that I read that they would be perfect for an upcoming trip that will involve a lot of walking in the woods and possibly in damp rainy conditions. For that they would be perfect. However, I have plantar faciitis in my right foot and the minute i put these shoes on I knew I was in trouble. I ordered a 91/2 W which fit perfectly. The height at the ankle may have rubbed if I had been able to tolerate the boot for long enough but I think that wouldn't have been a problem in the long run. I tried wearing them with only the foot insert and they didn't have enough lift to keep my foot from starting to ache. Then I tried my orthotic and changed into a heaver sock and that made them too snug over my instep which hurt. I'm so disappointed but I would not recommend this boot for anyone with PF unless you invest in having a shoe repair person add a lift to them as one other person had done. That might do it but with the cost of these shoes being what they are I didn't want to take the chance, spend more money on them and still not have them be comfortable. I've worn SAS shoes before and have a pair now that I wear without an orthotic and they are the best shoe ever but I just can't wear them hiking in the wet woods. :( so sad.

Most comfortable shoe ever. I got so many compliments on this shoe, I had to buy a second pair! Many people asked where I got them from.

Sadly, I had to send these back. The width in the arch and toe area was fine in the medium but the heel area was quite sloppy form me--felt like about a quarter inch of space on either side of my heel. Also the sole was much stiffer than I would have expected. I'm trying to replace a pair of Rockport boots that I have resoled twice and that I've had for about 30 years. They are finally falling apart. I have had bad sprains to both ankles and they still swell if I walk long distances or stand for a long time and I need a boot that I can tighten around my ankle. I would like the shaft to have been about a half inch taller but still the heel would have been too wide and the sole too stiff. My Rockports have a heavey vibram sole but they are still not as stiff. I agree with another reviewer about the tongue being too thick and a bit to high too.
Loved the moon dust collar though. Wish these had fit better--to me, they are much more attractive than the alpine.
I'd also recommend:
Rimonte Elaine 14 but they are much lighter--maybe too light.

I did not like the style of this bootie - the SAS Jade. I would prefer a regular heel rather than the 'sneaker' look. I did go a half size up and my custom orthotics fit very well.
They were comfortable - I just didn't like the look.

I bought this boot to wear with skinny jeans and socks for cooler weather but was disappointed in how this boot felt. I know I have a very narrow heel, but I have other shoes/boots that fit me, so it wasn't just me! Only seconds after I tried this boot on, the back of my heel had turned pink/red. I felt the boot rubbing against my heel. There was some "play" in the ankle area but there also seemed to be some sort of an issue with how the boot was made in the ankle area; it was hard and did not conform to my heel.

Slim was huge and this boot was not what I expected. Very clunky looking and did not fit at all!

Quality is great. The heel was too wide (ordered narrow width). Toe box was fine. Wanted to exchange for (slim width) in same color (red) but they do not carry the color in that width.
Too bad. Wanted something funky and for walking in the winter months. Each shoe last is different. Once you find a style you like and fits correctly, then you can keep purchasing. My favorite is FT Mesh walking shoe, it comes in Red! Would like that in more colors (lime green, orange etc.). Fits perfect for a 10.5 narrow. Have been wearing SAS shoes for many years.

Ordered a narrow and it was way too wide especially in the heel. Even allowing for a fat sock for winter, it was not close.

The tongue on this shoe is so high that it rubs your leg just below the shin. The heel box was too large which made the foot slide around. Must return.
