I generally only ware SAS shoes. But the Jade has stitching up the middle of the shoe which rubbed my toes and corns. The pain was sufficient that I was unable to judge the fit.

The style is nice but the bottom soles are very slippery on both rugs and wood flooring. I mistakenly thought the rubber like bottoms would have anti-slip properties but they absolutely do not. The heel is also a bit narrow. These boots are not designed for people who want a slip resistant sole!

These boots have everything I need to make my feet happy--extra wide width, soft suede exterior, leather lining so they stretch for comfort and also will not cause me blisters, a removable footbed so I can replace it with my own orthotic, a roomy toe box for my tender feet, and a low, flat heel and flexible sole for walking comfort. And the boot look very stylish too, and not an all like an extra wide comfort shoe. I have 2 prs. of these boots--the black suede and the black suede with (hot-looking!) leather heel. If SAS ever comes out with an extra wide tall boot version of this boot, I'll buy 2 prs. of those too!

Jade book, black suede is stylish enough for work and comfortable enough to walk many blocks. This book manages to make my size 9 feet look normal relative to my 5'3" stature.

Finally found a boot that's stylish and comfortable. I'm hard to fit, need a wide toe box and narrow heel and this is the only shoe I can wear out of the box. Thank you SAS for the free shipping and return, finally found my perfect size. I will order more shoes from SAS and avoid all the other shoe websites.

First of all, I love SAS shoes, sandals, or boots! They're made in the USA which is so hard to find and the quality can't be beat in my opinion. I ordered the Bethany boots first as I loved the way they looked. But my hard to fit foot was uncomfortable in them so then I ordered these Jade ankle boots.
OMG they are soooo comfortable-the cushioning-the arch support- just felt great! Now I have to say that I haven't actually worn them anywhere yet as
I bought them for a trip out west (near Jackson Hole, Wyoming) for my son's wedding. But just walking around the house they were great. I can update the review after the trip. I also like the way they look-they don't make my feet look big, even though they're a size 10. If you have difficult feet and comfort is very important to you, then these are just the ticket! Oh, and one more thing-they have goring near the top of the zipper just in case you need a little extra stretch. I highly recommend them.
