I wear Soft 7 shoes almost exclusively and these run small/ narrow due to the insulation. I had to exchange my usual 41 for a 42. They are well made, comfortable, and warm.

Love them!!

I have a pair of the soft 7 sneakers and I love them! So comfortable! I saw these hi-top ankle version and thought they might be perfect for those warmer winter days since they have some added warmth inside. Took a couple wears, but they’re as comfortable as my others, great to wear all day out running errands or walking the dog! They have already had a ton of use in the past two weeks! I know I’ll get a ton of use out of these so worth the money!

I loved these boots in brown! Unfortunately I live in a warm state and they are just a little to warm to wear.

i like the style of these, but they were way too small to even consider.

Beautiful boot, but runs smaller than other Ecco shoes, including another Tred GTX shoe.

These feel sturdy and warm and have a good gender-neutral, minimal style. I feel they are narrow and fit small, the ones I kept are a full size larger than my usual size and still need a little breaking in before they will fit super comfy.

These are so cute, but you have to size up. I am a standard size, and I NEVER size up--when I do I regret it. For these however, it was necessary, and even the size up is a tiny bit snug. Once you get the right size, it is worth it.

This shoe is nice, but too tight on my feet. Returning for this reason.

I liked these boots but decided to get another pair of ecco boots that hit just a little higher. I did not want snow inside my boot. I got them for walking and they would have been good.

Love these sneakers! Very cute and stylish! I ordered my normal size and they fit great. They might have been a little more narrow than others but once I loosened the laces; problem solved. Some breaking in time but not bad. Not sure I understand other reviews that say they sized up cause in my experience, they would have been way too big. Overall, very pleased with my purchase!

These shoes are very cute and I wanted to like them-and I do. I ordered my usual size and they are a bit small. I then ordered the next size up since they are so cute. That felt too big. I ended up keeping the original size and I think that is the right decision for me, though probably could have made either work. They are very comfortable to walk in and keep on all day. Not quite as warm as I had hoped but warm enough for mildly cold outside and still being comfortable inside.

I bought these for walking to work. I live in a city. They are very comfortable, but are on the snug size so if you buy your true size, don't expect to wear thick winter socks. They have really been the perfect addition to my winter boots - I live in the Northeast and wear these when it's cold, but I'm not having to track through snow or slush.

Tried to pay heed to reviews that this Soft 7 fit was smaller than expected, but took a chance on my size anyway, 37. When I tried it on without socks, it fit nicely, both width- and length-wise. It helps a little that my feet are narrow to normal. When I wore socks, which was how I preferred to wear this pair, it felt a little snug, and I was starting to feel some of the bumps in the tongue, the edges of the top opening, etc. Still, I was determined to make it work, as it wasn't as tight as I thought it would be. Loosened the ribbon laces, which were adorable but too short, by the way, and wore it for a long walk. It did well on first wearing, and now I can't wait to wear it more often with leggings and tights! I'm hoping that the leather will stretch a little to conform to my feet. The lining makes it feel warm, and hopefully, I will be able to make use of the water-resistant feature soon. I hesitated to get them only because of the price, but I got the last pair of the black in my size and I'm glad. In terms of style with function and comfort, I think I will be investing in ECCO from now on.

ran a little bigger by Euro sizing, I was afraid to size down since I am a 6.5 or 7, so I ordered the Euro size 38 (7 - 7.5) and felt a little too loose and if it stretched out, then they would be too big, I wish they had half sizes then it would be perfect. Reordered in smaller size, hope they aren't too tight, and that they will stretch a little.

I have a foot wide at the front compared with a narrow heel. These booties would have been great except that exactly where the first eyelet is on one shoe bothered by little toe. Overall, these seem like they would be a comfortable choice for winter and rainy days. They come with an extra pair of laces that are more typical shoelaces if you find the ribbon-like ones won't stay tied - which was the other possible issue I considered before purchase.

I'm between a 9 and 9.5, so I thought the 40 would be fine, as it is in other Ecco shoes I have. I could put them on and walk around, but they were definitely too short and narrow. I purchased them in a 41 from another store since Zappos was sold out, and they fit perfectly. So trust the reviews and size up. These really are smaller than usual. Also, I have fairly high arches and the arch support feels great in these. And I love that these are a fairly stylish but subtle high-top sneaker/boot hybrid. I can wear them all day and not feel like I'm wearing clunky winter boots.

I had read many reviews that recommended sizing up, so I bought these in 1/2 size bigger than I usually wear, but they're too big! The style is super cute, though, so I'm re-ordering in my usual size.

I am a size 8.5-9 so I ordered a 39. They were far too tight through the toe box and in general to keep. The heel was rubbing already. I really love the style and I hope that size 40 will come back in stock soon so that I can give a larger size a try.

The shoes felt true to size I wear 5.5-6 in tennis shoes. I do get a lot of compliments on the shoes. My only complaint is that they scuff so easily. Other than that they are a nice pair of beat around shoes and still look decent.

Adorable shoe but I found the front narrow even after adjusting laces. Shoe is lined and felt cozy but fit was just wrong for me.

I love the style and functionality of these sneakers. However they are taking a long time to soften up and are very stiff at first. They are also on the narrow side and the laces are too short to loosen them during the break-in period. In the end I've tied a knot in the top of each end of the lacing so that I could loosen the laces up.
