They were a tad longer than I thought but, very comfortable. That said, I'd guess a half-size shorter would be better. I have had an ankle fused and I wanted to try these out to make sure they wouldn't hit the "sweet" spot and hurt - but, surprise, surprise - they felt very comfy. Due to my wife's displeasure of the 'look" and due to the oversize issue, I returned them and bought a less-formal pair of Borns instead as a replacement, mainly because the Nunn Bush were more than formal for an 80-plus retired male (unless I planned on going back to work or attending lots of funerals - which I don't).

The size of the boot feels a little bit large at first. I added Timberland cushion insoles to these and it made this not an issue anymore. I like them. Great style and nice boots. love the grips on the bottom

The fit on these shoes is very good, they are comfortable right out of the box, and the style is very good. These shoes are lighter than most other pairs I have owned, and I am unsure how they will hold up over time. I have worn them six or seven times, and so far there are no major scuffs or scratches. The color of the leather is consistent throughout the shoes. For the price, I am very happy with this purchase, and I would absolutely recommend them.

Bought these shoes for my husband, and after reading the reviews, I made sure to order a half size smaller than his usual size. They got here, and you could tell they'd be really comfortable. Was glad they came in wide width as he sometimes has a hard time finding shoes that fit right. They're well-made shoes and very lightweight. But they were a FULL size bigger, not just a half size. So we're returning them and ordering them in a much smaller size than he usually wears.

Perfect fit!
I am relieved and comforted so much so that I have been wearing my boots around the hour all morning. I feel like my feet can breathe again and not be compressed by the width; thankfully i didn't have to bring out the good ole shoe stretcher.
I want to give a big shout out to the Customer Support rep .. Laura, who kindly assisted me in getting these overnight due to a mix up in my previous order. She rocks! And now I will be on the hunt for the same item in a different color.

Way too big. The "walking comfort technology" is baloney; a different model from the same brand that doesn't claim any special comfort is actually more comfortable. And the upper is absolutely not leather.

Only problem is they look like a touched up return. One toe is darker/glossy, the other is lighter/dull. Only reason I am not returning is that size 12 4E are so hard to find. Some type of credit would be nice.

I had previously ordered a 9.5, 9 and this one an 8.5. They all seemed to fit the same with a lot of room in front of my big toe. I kept this last pair because I needed the wide width.
It’s a good looking and comfortable shoe.

I normally wear 13D or medium width in shoes but due to a foot injury on one foot I am moving up to 13 Wide (13 EE) for just a little bit more room for my injured foot. I ordered pairs of these Ozark boots in both tan and black. When these arrived I really like the looks and the leather upper is actually quite soft for a dressy style boot. But the wide boots, even on my non-injured foot, were not wide at all, feeling even a bit tighter than other boots I have owned in 13D size. After trying to wear them around a bit in the house on carpet I decided to return them after about 2 minutes in them as they were definitely too tight across the forefoot. It is something about this particular model as both the black pair and the tan pair fit almost exactly the same, too narrow. I bought another similar boot of only a slightly different build style and model name and the wide in that fits wonderfully, far looser than these Ozark models.

It's time to give up for me. I ship out of country and returning is costly. On these I asked CS for some advice and got no commitment one way or other as I recall. Ordered my size and received a full size larger. If I could wear them semi comfortably, I would give 5 stars for overall and comfort.
If you can get the correct size, they are nice boots for the money.

Ran true to my size, so my 9.5M foot didn't fit into a size 9M shoe. Leather appeared to easily scuff - be prepared for lots of polishing. Lining inside tongue and collar appeared to be black vinyl.
