Very cute but the shoes make a terrible air release sign with each step. Can't really wear outside the house because the sound is super embarrassing. Wish I would have sent back.

I love the shoe but it runs short. I ordered an 11 but it fits like a half size smaller. I had to send the shoe back.

This is the second pair of big buckles I have ordered and the second pair I am sending back. I am so disappointed as these are expensive and are supposed to be very high quality. I’ve been buying Birks for over 15 years, always satisfied. This pair has major cosmetic issues- visible glue along the sole, uneven tread, and lots of scratches on the leather.

I have about 20 pairs of birkenstocks. I wear them all the time. This pair is poorly made. I can feel the staples that attach the big buckle to the straps rubbing against the top of my foot. The buckle seems really cheap metal and the gold looks like it will flake off in time. Overall, they are stiff and just not what I would expect from a trusted brand. Makes me wonder if someone else is manufacturing these for Birkenstock.

These look so cute but are the absolute worst design! The front strap across the foot near the toes it’s far too wide. I wore mine for less than an hour and have blisters across the top of each of my toes. There’s no breaking them in…it is the design the wide strap crates the strap to be a razor blade running against your toes. I am returning.

Ugly gold buckles look cheap in person. Also very small.

I love Birkenstock’s, and these LOOK so cute. BUT the leather footbed is AWFUL. After wearing them for 10 minutes my feet would “stick” and make the most annoying sound when I walked. I’m so sad I had to return them because they are super cute.

The sandals were a little too big and I felt the leather looked like plastic. Very disappointed, as these sandals are 150.

The black big buckle sandals are really cute. I love how they look and fit, but the left sandal makes a very loud noise in the sole when bent at all, so every time you take a step. I will try exchanging for a different pair.

First of all, I want to say that there isn't another company more customer oriented than Zappos. They do all they can to service and make the customer happy. For all of that, Thank You, Zappos. Now on to the shoe. I have worn Birkenstock sandals for many more years than a bunch of the readers viewing the review have been alive.. Have always found that they are the very best sandal for comfort. My feet are normal in width and normal to high arch, so I assumed that the Narrow width (the only width offered) would be fine. I was wrong. It just didn't feel comfortable on my foot. I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the leather on the sandal. It was very stiff and and not supple at all. Add to that the huge, gold, and fake looking buckles and the sandal was a "no go" for me. I put them on, looked at them, took them off and thought about them. I could not get over the mental thought that they looked like Pilgrim shoes with the buckles. I am sending them back and will be looking at other sandals.

Super cute pair of Birkenstocks, love the big buckle look and the rose color is a perfect neutral. Comfortable just takes a little bit to get used to the bigger buckle and where it hits on your foot.

I loved these Birks, but the nubuck leather was too stiff for my feet and the edge of the straps tended to rub on the top of my toes, which made them uncomfortable to walk in. So, I returned them and ordered the suede Birks, same color and size and hoping that they will feel a lot "softer" on my feet!

I usually have to break in my Birkenstocks but these took just a few days. Very comfortable. Style is great. Quite versatile.

My old Birkenstocks were totally worn out and I was ready for a new pair. These are perfect. I love the big buckles! Break in period was short-I wore them around the house for a couple days and then short outings for a few days. Now they are perfect. Love them!

Really liked this sandal. Most of my birks are the big buckle, wanted neutral and in simpler buckle

Love these sandals, great quality. I have wide feet and have problems finding shoes that fit. The 7.5 regular sandals fit me great.

The leather is lovely including the foot liner. They were described as "big buckle" but it was larger than I anticipated and the gold is very bright. Because they were a little loose [I have a narrow foot] they felt difficult to keep on my foot.
