I don't know why I waited so long to get into these boots. They have proven themselves over and over in the toughest winter conditions I've faced in many years. Purely and simply the toughest, warmest and most comfortable boots I've ever worn. Plus, the traction is remarkable. But don't believe me, get into a pair yourself. You'll then understand why I'm so impressed.

Bought these for 812-hour outdoor work shifts in the winter. Traction is great and as long as I'm continuously moving, they keep my feet comfortably warm. Replaced the included foam insoles with gel ones for some added comfort and they're comfortable now that they're broken in.

Grip is good, warmth is great, fits like a glove. I'm usually a size 13 EEE and I've found the size 14 with medium with to be a good fit. I work in conditions varying from 0C to -40C and these boots are a great fit for colder days. A bit warm when close to 0C.

Lightweight and great support. Wear them everyday for work. Waterproof all the way up. Great lacing system for quick on and off. I polish the toe as well.

So far, so good, although I have not tested them in snowy or freezing weather yet. They still need to be broken in but so far they are quite comfortable. Merrell's have always run small on me so I had to get a size bigger than normal.

Best boots I've had by far. Very comfortable, warm, and sleek. But for one design flaw where the thread in the upper back comes loose, everything else is perfect. Great customer service also.

Very comfortable, can stand for long shifts in them. Nice and weather resistant. Got a lot of compliments on the way they look as well! Awesome boots!!

I work outside for 12 hours a day in various terrain and I've worn these almost everyday for the past 5 months (in Canada). Most comfortable shoes I've ever had right out of the box. Noticeably light weight compared to my other non insulated boots and they have a slight rocker which is nice as I am on my feet all day. Durability is holding up, no problems so far. Would be warm enough for the average person up to -10c (depending on your tolerance and what activity you're doing). I need toe warmers at that point but there is room in the toe box for me. I would recommend trying them on first if you have wide feet, mine are narrow and I don't need to tighten them as much as I normally do. Merrell if you're ready this, my only criticism is that these boots are missing a loop in the back to help pull them on. (Please make these in a non insulated and I will buy them immediately)

These boots are comfortable. For me, they fit and feel like wearing sneakers. I wear a size 10. For this boot I can wear 10 and 10.5. I wear a 10 for in urban environments and a 10.5 for when I'm in the mountains. If it helps you, I've worn blackhawk, vasque and danner boots.

Great fit and comfortable out of the box. Quality workmanship. I'm in law enforcement and stand for long periods of time. Not a problem in these boots.

Loving these boots. Was worried about break-in period for them as I work long hours, but had no issues at all. As a female purchasing them I originally purchased the wrong size because I neglected to see that they were unisex sizing, but Merrell was great and credited me for the wrong size and sent me the correct size. Completely satisfied.

Comfortable, warm, and grippy. I bought a half size bigger which gave room for heavier socks and to be able to wiggle my toes.

These are the best boots for cold, snowy, and icy winters!!! Comfortable, good grip especially on ice. My go to when Mother Nature hasn't been so kind!

These boots keep your feet dry in some heavy duty Idaho snow. Though pricey, I would recommend them for heavy snow usage.

So far these are excellent boots! I've owned multiple brands and these match up to all. I'm looking forward to seeing how they hold up to my abuse. They are light and the traction is excellent.

I have a long history (25 years or so) with Merrell hiking boots. (I live in Anchorage, Alaska.) The only parts of my body that get cold on those crispy winter nights, standing out on the ice to photograph the aurora, are my toes and my finger tips. So, knowing what Aerogel is, I decided to give them a try. This last week, it's been in the single-digit temperatures in Anchorage, so ideal temperatures for me to start testing them seriously. Short version... They work! I'm totally pleased with both the comfort and fit of these boots. Two suggestions I'd make is to add a pull-up loop to the rear of the boot, which would make getting them on a bit easier. The other suggestion would be to increase the length of the shoestrings by about 4 inches. I usually double-tie the bow knot, which I can still do with these, but they're a bit short.

I was worried about width when I bought them but they are perfect. They are great for walking and im breaking them in for winter. I almost want it to get cold quicker! Lightweight for a tall boot also.

This is my 3rd pair of Merrell boots and they exceeded my expectations. I have quite a few pairs of Nike and Jordan sneakers. The boots are every bit as comfortable and are as light as them. I can't wait to try them out in the Winter. Thanks for another awesome product!

I have been a police officer in New Hampshire for over 20 years and this is by far the absolute best boot I have ever used. They are true to size, very warm and very waterproof. Guys think I'm nuts or a Merrell salesman because I talk about them so much and push guys into them. I'm so confident in the boot I've told guys I would buy them the boots if they were not 100% satisfied. Love them and iWorks feel very confident standing behind them you will NOT be disappointed I promise.
