The boot is very comfortable and fit true to size, it has nice padding inside. They were a bit stiff at first but after some walking they really loosened up nicely.

The leather in the Dark Gray version of this boot is soft like suede. Color is true to the picture, dark brown leather and gray sole. Very comfortable to walk in. Perfect size 12 fit. I sometimes have to go down half a size with Born, but not with the Gilden. Lots of room in the toe box.

Great shoes! These looked even better than I imagined. There is nothing quite like the smell & attractive design of hand crafted- quality leather shoes such as these. In addition, they are some of most comfortable boots I've ever owned!

I don’t buy anything but Born Shoes. The fit , comfort, and style is the best. And their not over priced in my opinion

The Gilden is lightweight and quite comfortable. The page recommended a 10.5 and that is my size. But I had to trade them in for an 11. Got another pair in the gray color.I like 'em!

True to the Born tradition, these are very comfortable. A little stiff on the unboxing, they are breaking in nicely after just a couple of wears. Construction is good, and with the winter conditions of late I can confirm the tractioin is solid on these boots. I would recommend!

Excellent shoes and beautiful

Very comfortable right out of the box. And a few weeks of regular wear, they're holding up well and are even more comfortable. The soles are rather thin and minimal so my feet get tired after hours of standing or walking, but a simple insert would help. Great looking shoe as well!

These are some very nice boots for the price. The construction and materials seem to be of good quality. They are pretty lightweight and very comfortable, even after a full day at the office. My only gripe is with the laces. They're too fat and are kind of a pain to tighten.

Very Happy with purchase! Very well made with quality leather and stitching. Went for a walk on the day that the shoes arrived and shoes felt as if they were already broken in and were very comfortable. I'm satisfied.

Honestly, I don't have a bad thing to say about this Born boot. They are incredibly comfortable and look great. My only issue might be is that some water got inside the boot once when it rained, but I don't think these are designed to be waterproof. Just an amazing purchase, can't be happier.

Wearing these shoes is like walking on a cloud with marshmallows on your feet. Very comfortable!

Very comfortable shoe. Have only wore them once to work and they were extremely comfortable. No break in needed. Big on comfortable, quality shoes since it starts at your feet up to your back. Big, big fan of Born shoes.

Nice pair of Kicks.

I was looking for something nice enough to wear to church, out to dinner, or to watch my kids' concert at school; but maybe not so classy you could wear into the executive boardroom. I ended up wearing the day after I got them where I wasn't expecting to have to spend all day on my feet, to include about 4 miles of walking. These shoes didn't require any breaking in and they fit and felt amazing. I would absolutely recommend these shoes.

Felt smaller than other brands of the same size, I suspect the right size will be very comfortable. Love the style

Thought I was going to love them, but they were just “okay.” Not as happy with them as normally with Born.

It’s a really nice boot but too narrow for me. Going a full size larger would not help in this case.

These books look great, nice style. The toe box is quite shallow, they hurt my senior toe joints but this is going away as i break them in. The heal is quite flat, more like a moccasin than a boot. The leather is single stitch unlike my New Balance shoes which is double stitched. Overall these are nice boots for the sale price I paid and should be good for my limited walking. I would not recommend them for heavy use.
