These shoes were true to size and width but I'd say arch support is less than moderate--more like minimal and that's okay with me. I wanted a wider shoe but these shoes might be a tad wider than I desired but their width is within acceptable limits. Because they are true to size adding too thick a sock tends to crowd the toes but so far I've managed nicely. They are very comfortable for walking.

The size and fit were fine. Like the color more of a moss/gray. Really like the style, material. Basically what i was looking for. However out of the box I noticed the stitching on the right pair was off. Stitching loop sticking out. Bummer. Need to return but will re-order new pair. Must of got by quality control.

High quality leather, beautiful finish. Sole a little funky for the office, but passable. Fit is good all around. Feeling is a little stiff and doesn't conform to the foot well, but may require break-in period for this to change. I have a pair of their sandals and love them, but for the chukka I wanted a little sturdier boot.

I had to return a size 9.5 as they fit small, so I'm still waiting on the size 10. But I have the brown pair which are stupendously comfortable.

Great looking shoe. Comfortable. The sizing just isn’t consistent. The 9 1/2 was too small and the 10 was too big. Not sure how this could happen. Had to return both, which is a bummer.

I used to be a HUGE Born fan, but my past several purchases have disappointed. I have average-width feet, but the Gilden fit much too narrow. The heel was also uncomfortable. The foot bed was soft and comfy and almost convinced me to keep the shoes in hopes that everything else would stretch and become comfortable. But after a couple wears around the house, the cons outweighed the pros and I decided to return the shoe.

It's NOT size, it's NOT width, it's NOT arch support, it's the bloody ARCH ITSELF that this boot does not accommodate. The lower part of arch, even moderate, NOT high arch does not fit into the forward part of the boot. This is still another design that completely defies the very basic anatomical features of the human foot. The widest and very critical line of the boot is where the forefoot (aka toes) and midfoot meet. Using good materials and solid technology to put together a boot that a human foot can't fit it, unless an individual suffers from fallen arches is a waste. Protect the environment, don't waste leather and don't waste human effort. Don't be evil!

The construction of these shoes it terrible. I bought my pair at the end of October 2018 and did not start wearing them until December. By mid February 2019 the insert (they are not inserts - they are a cover of interior of the souls) on the right foot is falling apart and so is the interior support for the heel. So these did not last 2.5 months of moderate wear. Not worth the money.

I really liked the look of the boots and they felt OK wearing them, not uncomfortable but not exactly comfortable either, right in the middle. The issue that I had with them is quality. The 3rd time that I put them on, I was able to pull the heel loop right off. The stitches did not rip or tear, they just came undone from poor manufacturing. So I am returning them. It's a shame because they really do look nice.
