They are very much Birkenstock-ey. I like the closed toe. I usually get nubuck or suede but the oiled leather is great and I expect will develop a nice patina over time.

Perfect, exactly what I was looking for. It made the 10hr days on my feet not make me want to amputate my feet at the end of the night.

The width seemed narrower in the soft footbed then the regular footbed. These are my second pair and when you stand them on their sides they are at least 1/4 smaller in width then my non softbed Birks

Arizona sandals fit me in a 42 , but in the Boston I needed a 43. Thanks to Zappos for lightning fast turnaround and credit on the return. Love these clogs. Oiled leather has enough heft that they keep shape, can slide on without hands. Great iron blue color, soft footbed very nice!!

Although these are the ugliest shoes I've ever owned, the are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I'm a primary school teacher and I'm on my feet for most of the day. I love my Birkenstock sandals, but needed something I could wear socks with in the winter. My plantar fasciitis is minimal and me feet, knees, and calves feel great after a long day on my feet.

I love my Bostons. I am usually a 39 in the Mayari and Gizeh, but in these I purchased a 40 because I didn’t want my heel at the edge of the footbed as I plan to occasionally wear socks with these. The Iron color is amazing and goes with everything. Couldn’t be happier with them!

I've been wearing Birkenstocks for nearly 20 years. I ordered these in my usual size 39 regular and they fit exactly as I expected (I wear an 8 medium or wide width in other brands). Please note that regular width in Birkenstock fits like wide width, and narrow fits like medium width. The soft footbed is fantastic as well. The leather is a bit drier than expected and the color was lighter than the photos, but after applying some waterproof treatment they darkened to a great shade that I love and will develop into a beautiful patina. I will always be a Birkenstock fan!

Very nice but bit hard on cushion.

I have some suede Bostons and was looking to change things up to leather. Ordered my usual size. They were a little bit shorter and much heavier! Returning. Thanks Zappos for your amazing customer support.

The top buckle area on right shoe was stiff and hurt the top of my foot.

Wanted to love these as I am dealing with plantar fasciitis and my Birkenstock sandals immediately relieve the pain and wanted a closed version for the cold weather, but these did not do it for me. They felt too wide and "floppy" on the top, and the sole was not as supportive with the soft bed. Will try another model and see if it is any better.

I love the color, however the leather is easily scratched. The were sent back. As a side note...in every other European shoe I wear a size 41. In the Birkenstock clog I seem to between a 41 and a 42. My toes fit well in the front, but there is some room in the back of the 42. My toes bump in the 41s. I wear a 10 in American sizing.

It was scuffed

More a zappos/amazon issue than the birk issue. Grommet was broken on the pair I recieved. I suspect this was a previous return as the shoes were shipped in a plastic bag instead of the original birkenstock box.

I ordered the oiled leather and received a brown suede that showed up as two shoes in a bag, no box. So shady. Zappos used to be a reputable site, not anymore. Sad thing is they were a Christmas gift and won’t be able to find a new one in time for Christmas.

There seems to be a quality control issue with this shoe. This is the second pair of Boston Soft Footbed - Oiled Leather I've ordered that arrived with a defect in the leather. The first was through Birkenstock US website arrived with a 2 inch wide defect on top of one shoe and was returned. This pair from Zappos arrived with ugly vertical streaks in the leather so it will be returned also.

The wrong shoes arrived

Unlike any Birkenstock I have ever tried. Leather was very hard and stiff and size was way off i.e. too large. Very disappointed as I have worn Birkenstocks many times in the past. I'm actually wonderful if they were knock-offs.

Material very stiff and hard. Way too big and very uncomfortable.

I'm a long time Birkenstock lover, and these don't disappoint! My first clogs, love them!

LOVE these shoes. Wear them to work or casual hangouts. So comfortable.
